plugs is doubtful for the rise. wish I could be of more assistance. That is one that I've not experienced a jump in revs while driving. I would be starting at the throttle plate and work my way back from there. Injectors maybe? I would call Car Talk. You can post the problem on their website and get a reply in about 48-72 hours. |

I had a consistent drop in revs on my first 94 GT, previous owner had put in splitfire plugs and the electrode on one was so far beyond fouled it was almost no presence of a gap. Replaced the plugs with reg platinum Bosch and the problem went away. You said it rises on its own though? You recently do anything to the ECU? Does the spring wind on the throttle cable return assembly look loose or crooked? |

I've come to the point where it is time to part with the Celica. I have no room for her, nor the time to spend on her anymore. Only problem is a power steering leak. I don't have anymore spare time to get into trying to fix that. For right now I will say that if I have to part her out to get rid of her, so be it; I'd rather other Celi peeps get use out of her parts (which is tragic as I recently paid for a new windshield). Anyone on Oahu interested, I'll let her go with all extra parts for $1200. Strong running 96 GT engine, 116K miles, automatic. I will post pics later, but for now: body in great condition, all panels intact, airbags and module never deployed. I have extras that will be included in the pics and will consider all parts sales, buyer covers shipping costs - my zip code is 96706 but I can ship from there or 96818 (Won't make a huge difference...Oahu is still an island Anyone on Oahu interested, text me at 808-295-5069 or call and ask for Rob. Would prefer to sell the car whole, but I will part out as I have to. email is samuel.adams.12@gmail.com |

Island of Oahu. Black 94 GT with 96 GT engine. Automatic, 115K miles on engine, pwr locks, pwr windows. New: plugs, plug wires, igniter, distributor, radiator, hatch struts, windshield, battery. Have extra: driver door, interior carpeted items, strut tower support bar (stock), glove box, airbag, airbag module, headlight lenses (low beams), pair of fog lamps (only one mounting bracket). Cloth seats, good condition. No rust. There's a leak somewhere in the power steering is the problem and I no longer have the extra time to play around with the car. 808-295-5069, text me or ask for Rob |

Today I am troubleshooting the power steering problem that I seem to have. There's a leak somewhere allowing air in, and the aeration of the fluid is causing a mad output of ps fluid. Bout to jack up the front and take a good looksee as to what's going on. On a better note, the paint should be dry on the strut tower support bar and windshield wiper arms; to which end, they will be installed. A nice light hand sanding down to 320, primer, then 2 enamel coats followed by clearcoat - yellow for the strut bar, black for the wiper arms. Valve cover will be the next piece to clean up and paint. Anyone have suggestions on the power steering? I am thinking I will focus on the pump. 96 GT engine, 115000 miles: it may be time for a new one. |

What's wrong with zip ties?! My original 94 was sold to me; driver's side headlight held in by black rubber securing strap. Worked like a charm! (Way back when I had enough money to buy the vehicle, but only could afford ESSENTIAL repairs haha) |

I will take some good pics this weekend and post them for review and so you all can see the condition of things the way they are. I would do it right now, but I won't have the time until the weekend. |

If you are on Oahu, make some time this weekend...come check out what's on the car that you are interested in and let's make my wife happy and get as much of this stuff gone PM me for this weekend if you can make it out to Ewa. |

Ok, it's time to call it a part out. All parts ready for sale. I will put together a price list, inventory of the vehicle is currently "whole". Large items for shipping will probably be a ghastly cost to ship, so I am hoping that people who want the heavier stuff are here on Oahu |

Selling 1994 GT hatchback. Put a 1996 GT engine in, just haven't made all the connections though the new engine is mounted. Needs a coil. New: hatch shocks, plug wires, battery, radiator. 96 engine has 115K miles on it. Couple of broken wire plugs need replacing. Interior seat fabric could use a steam cleaning. Good body, no rust. Extras yanked from 96 also included (extra driver door, set of stock tail lights, wiper motor, wiper arms, wiper relay, signal relay, tach console. Lots of extra panels as well. I don't have the time anymore to give to the car. If you're in the 808 and want to nab this puppy, PM me. Will consider parting out as well, but I would prefer to load all the extras up and see the Celi go on her way to someone who has the time. |

So, is there a way to check the VIN to find out if the vehicle is supposed to be California or Federal? Just my random question for the day, hope it's an answerable one! |

So I am in an area where a lot of the water from the sprinklers on the curbside utilize hard water. After a while, it leaves tough deposits on the windshield. Anyone have any luck with some kind of solvent that removes the faint outlines of these mineral deposits? |

Similarly, had a very bad connection on my first 94 GT...big deal was the acceleration was retarded: accelerate for a brief moment, then speed would drop. TRD wires, concur. and stop strapping bits of cheese onto the wires...that's what's attracting the vermin! |

Ok...I have the 94 GT...with the low beam headlamp lenses that have the lines across them...what are the crystal clear ones with the beautiful spherical projector lens inside? I've searched for projector/JDM projector...cannot figure it out. Anyone know what I speak of? Seen it on a GT-4. |

There were a pair of clear fog lamps in those ports on the 96 I parted out after harvesting the eng and transaxle. I still have them, but have yet to clean them up. They are bright though! |

it's because you drive an ST. ok serious: she doesn't know how to tell you...she's preggers. Ok, really serious: why wonder about the one, when you could have TWO. Honestly, continue to be yourself. Don't fret too much, stress kills. And continue to pursue as a gentleman would...there's a line...on the other side is a title: stalker. Don't be that guy. If she is pi$$ed about the 3-way, you could always try to explain, "Hey...it was 2 at once...what was I supposed to do...NOT do them?!" <---that is the voice of reason! |
