Limited Time Ceramic Coating sale!!

Ceramic coating:
EMSPowered use the highest quality ceramic coating available. EMSPowered ceramic coating is chemical resistant and color stable (the color does not change after heat cycling, oil and fuel spills do not hurt the coating). It holds up extremely well to extreme temperatures even on the most intense turbo setups.

Benefits of Ceramic Coating:

* Keeps heat in - By keeping more heat in the pipes you increase exhaust velocity and exhaust energy. On turbo vehicles this allows the turbo to spool quicker and make more power. On naturally aspirated vehicles the higher velocity allows the gas to continue moving out at higher velocity and also results in increased power.
* Keeps heat out of the engine bay: By keeping more heat in the pipes and out of the engine bay you keep the other components in your engine bay cooler such as intake pipes, intercooler pipes, the intercoolers themselves, intake manifold, and others. Keeping engine bay and intake temperatures at a minimum will make more power every time on any vehicle whether it is naturally aspirated or turbo charged.
* Proper ceramic coating provides a long lasting and beautiful finish that is resistant to rust, chemicals and corrosion. It is not only a performance enhancing coating, but is also provides a pleasant aesthetic upgrade.
* Temperature reduction varies between different setups, generally you can expect a temperature reduction of 200-500F on most vehicles.

Why EMSPowered Ceramic Coating:
At EMSPowered we take ceramic coating to the next level. First we start with a chemical bath to remove any chemicals, oil or grime that is on the surface of the part. Next we sandblast all of the surfaces including the inside of the pipes to remove any corrosion, rust, or other coatings. Then the parts are given another chemical bath to remove all debris and leave a clean surface ready to be coated. After the extensive cleaning and preparation process the part is ceramic coated both INSIDE AND OUT. Finally the part is put into our high temperature oven for it's full cure process.

* Many other shops that ceramic coat will coat only the outside of the pipes, this not a complete ceramic coating job in our eyes. All exhaust components need to be coated both inside and out.
* Many other shops will use the "air cure" type coatings which cure partially in open air and then the final cure occurs once the part goes through a couple of heat cycles on a running engine. This is not a complete ceramic coating job in our eyes. All parts need to be cured completely and with proper coating materials, not "air cure" coatings.
* Many other shops do not put the parts through a proper chemical wash before coating. This causes the coating to prematurely lose it's adhesion to the metal and flake or peel off.

You've got that mostly correct. So the benefit of Compound versus Sequential:
Here's a good graph to explain another important part of the differences (twostage is referring to compound setups)[/img]

So the brown line in this case?

Also doesn't help that I think of something like this normally when I think of compound. Oh hey simple. Also why didn't I find this last night D: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-Me6yWApzY

Nekronos, I think you're flow was backwards
should look like this
*snip*

I was looking at the in flow when I was doing it and it seemed totally wrong to me, I was pretty exhausted from staring at the spaghetti tubing. Especially since I didn't see a blatant connection to the IC from one of the turbos. Should've paid more attention to this photo with the intake filter on the bottom left

Good find on the youtube video. Marc from that video is actually one of our lead fabricators, he did a lot of the work on the supra.

Really?! Oh boy! Now I'm getting excited. I'll hit you up when I can and I'll def be interested in a quote. I'm looking to build a NA daily that performs well and can be autocrossed. Already almost complete on the suspension, I just need to finish the exhaust for the next step and eBay headers are trash. They do nothing for performance boost and are made from cheap metal.

I'm glad I stumbled across this thread

We can build it from mild to wild. Drop me a line when you're ready and we can start getting a build plan together for you.

That exhaust manifold is ****ing maze for me to try and follow from those photos.
I take it compound and sequential are the same in this case for the turbo set up?

edit

Got any photos with out the turbos hooked up to it?

Sequential and compound turbo setups are totally different. Let me know if you need a brief description and I'll do my best to explain the difference. I'll look and see if we have any good photos of the finished manifolds without turbos attached for you.

Is all the welding done in house? Such beautiful work! I hope to see some videos of it.

Yes, we do ALL of our fabrication in-house. This includes custom one-off work like this, and also our turbo kits, manifolds and other products for the MR2/Celica/Alltrac/GT4

* EMSPowered custom made upper and lower radiator hard pipes with Wiggins clamps
* EMSPowered custom made oil catch can
* EMSPowered custom made coolant overflow
* EMSPowered custom made power steering reservoir
* EMSPowered custom made coolant swirlpot
* EMSPowered custom made fuel filter mount and skid plate
* EMSPowered custom made methanol pump mount and skid plate
* EMSPowered custom made methanol fuel cell in trunk area behind rear seat
* EMSPowered custom made battery tray and fuse box tray in trunk area
* EMSPowered custom made mounts for Penske coilover reservoirs

* Wrinkle black powdercoated water neck and radiator pipes
* Wrinkle black powdercoated charge pipes
* Wrinkle black powdercoated intercooler endtanks
* Wrinkle black powdercoated radiator endtanks
* Recaro leather racing seats
* Custom racing harness

There is lots more being done to this car that I'm . This is just a short list of some of the more important performance modifications.

Looks good!!

Just wondering though if you guys realise #1 port needs to be angled from far left to the middle.

Atleast with the gen 3 head in the celica as it's a sharp angular exit from behind the alternator, hence number #1 is wider than the rest. I'm sure it's not so much of a problem with that size piping though that's almost as wide as some peoples whole exhaust.

Yes, we realize that. We custom make each and every manifold for each customers' exact application. The ones pictured are for MR2 3sgte's, on the MR2 the alternator is on the other side of the engine. For Celica 3SGTE applications we would route the runners slightly different.

Most of you know that we have been making some of the finest top mount turbo exhaust manifolds and full top mount kits for the gen1, gen2, gen3, and gen4 3sgte's. Equal length and equal radius tuned runners. 100% custom designed for each customer, and built to the highest standards.

We have had lots of requests to start doing equal length, equal radius bottom mount manifolds and turbo kits and we're finally doing it. Here are photos of a bottom mounted, equal length, equal radius full turbo kit we're doing right now including a billet ball bearing Precision 5857 turbo.

Here's some photos of yet another Borg Warner S200 series kit we're finiishing up:

Collectors....

Here at EMSPowered, we make everything from scratch so that we have 100% control over every part of the build. Yes, we even make our own collectors. Many people have asked us if we can sell just our collectors. Now the answer is finally YES, we are now selling our custom made collectors for you DIY guys that want to build your own manifolds, or want to have a local shop build your manifold.

You can order yours here: http://www.emspowered.com/storefront/index...products_id=473

Here are a few photos of a small form factor v-band collector that we just finished up yesterday for a top mount Gen3 billet Precision 5857 kit we're building for a customer:

And the v-band turbine housing it's going on:

Hi, I heard about this product over on the gt4oc (gt4 owners club) I'm after a decent exhaust manifold, one that won't crack as soon as you start whinding the turbo up, and this looks like just what I'm after! do you know if the hood will clear the manifold on a generation 6 celica GT-Four? (st205) if yes, will you be selling them for 750 USD as stated in the post?

The other problem is, I'm in the Uk, England, would shipping be ok?
Congrats on a great looking product.

Many thanks,
James.

Hi James, you've come to the right place for a rock solid manifold that will perform! The $750 introductory price is finished and the manifold is back up to it's normal price as listed on our website. But I can still honor the $750 price for you if you'd like to order in the next couple of weeks. We custom make each manifold, so we can make it to fit your exact application/chassis/hood.

We're located in Austin, Texas. But we ship worldwide. We have a large customer base in the UK, that is no problem at all.

Some pictures of the new place starting to get setup. Don't mind the dust, we still need to clean up quite a bit and have a few more large items that need to be moved from the old shop to the new one.

Also, our phones & internet are won't be connected at the new shop until late next week, so please bear with is while we make the transition.

Well thank you for your responeses sir....also, will this kit/manifold be a call to order deal (get them while we are selling them), or something that you will have down the line as far as you can?

You can email/PM/call us to place an order for the manifold (or full kit including the manifold). We build each one by hand and custom make it to each customer's needs so that we can change/customize it to fit your exact application.

the price will be the same as MR2 manifold?!.. if we order the manifold, hw long it will take to shipp it?

The manifold is $750 as shown, and we can build it in any form you'd like for your particular application. Gen1, Gen2, Gen3, Gen4 3SGTE engines. T3, T4, divided T3, divided T4, v-band turbo flanges. 38mm, 44mm, 60mm (or other) wastegate flange. Build time on these is appriximately 4 weeks.

so this is also for the ST215 engine? the 4th gen 3sgte?

The one pictured is on a 3rd Gen 3SGTE. We can build them for any generation 3SGTE. We build each one by hand, so we can customize them to any application to meet each customer's exact needs.

Can i get a closer pic of how the turbo connects to the mount? that's a really beaut...i want to buy that just to frame it on the wall.

Not sure what you mean. Do you mean where the turbo bolts to the flange using the 4 bolts?

QUOTE (3WayStunna @ Nov 21, 2010 - 10:07 PM) *
Okay in all seriousness, i would take it this would be a product that you would be selling in the near future...and on that assumption, how would this compare in price to the c-one and full race manifolds that easily start around 900-1200. Also would you be selling this with your now, current turbo kit setups. Will this be a seperatly sold item, will it support the stock turbo setup. Sexy a$$ product man, but ive been wanting to ask these questions even since this site went down for that day or 2.

We are already taking orders for these. Since the start of this thread we have 5 orders in for the manifold and also full turbo kits including the manifold which are now in the build queue. As far as price, our price will be slightly lower than the ones you've mentioned. As far as quality and performance, I can guarantee that you will get better performance out of our manifolds since they are true equal length tuned manifolds (the others you mentioned are not). You can purchase our custom exhaust manifolds by itself or as a full kit. If you're interested in a setup shoot me a PM/email/phone call and we can get started on an order for you.

As far as pricing goes, it's $750 starting for the manifold depending on how you want it setup, which turbo flange, which WG flange, etc.... For a full kit including the manifold, turbo, downpipe, wastegate, screamer/reroute pipe, oil/water lines, fittings, gaskets, etc it would be starting at $2500.

Yes, the port/pipe/flange for the external TIAL v-band wastegate is being added as well. That's the last step.
