So the Celi is back on the House. He kept it as I left her so now is my job to finish What I start.

I wasn't even paying attention, yeah that's such a cheap thing to begin with. I think some Sylvania bulbs are made in Europe still.

Not Europe, Silvania bulbs are made here in CR biggrin.gif or at least the majority.

I bought a used cluster from a GT since I sold mine ( a ST ). As soon as I plug it in the CEL comes on even if the key is not in the ignition. If I prep or start the car CEL comes off. Turn off the car, CEL and fans come on. Unplug the bulb, fans turn off. What the hell is going on?

I would assume that GT and ST clusters should be the same, but I think they don't since both have different engine and signals are different. that might be the reason

Hi All

I'm getting this error when driving on highway around 60 in 5th. I've checked and so far can be multiple issues but don't which one is more accurate.

So far I have EGR issue. Rich Mix or engine coolant sensor. Don't want to mess it up by doing everything I found on the web so any help will be appreciated, my thinks leads me to coolant sensor first but don't know where is located.

Celica is 94 1.8l

Logged back to the Forum after my 2.5 weeks of vacations. also found out the problem with the knock sensor, the spark wires were burn out on the inside and burn out the spark plugs that's why gave me the error @3800 RPM and the Second head cam didn't kick in. so problem solved biggrin.gif

I did it like 4 years ago, I made the covers in a local company. Been in a car accident and made them again like 2 years ago.

here's my topic about it

http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=69129&hl=

Bottom line you can do them, just need to make the covers, I'm trying to find someone that makes them in glass instead of plastic.

Hi All

I'm coming to Orlando last week of October and I want to Know if there is someone near that Area, maybe to talk and meet someone from the 6GC world.

I'll be going to Universal and Disney parks. Also to the Horror Nights in the 31 and I'll be in Jacksonville on the 29 for the Alice Cooper show.

Hi All

When I rebuild the Engine unfortunately I broke the original knock sensor frown.gif and from that day on I've had change 3 knock sensors and the problem still coming up. If I keep a steady 2800 or 3500 RPMs the engine light came up and the car looses power and become a thirsty gas drinker, I have to reset the ECU to get back to "normal".

Don't know where to start to find out what the problem might be. After the rebuild something happen and a ground went off near the ECU and the car wont start, an electric guy help me found the problem and the car start again, no damage to the ECU were made by this.

One of the knock sensors is brand new from Dealer last Thursday. its a ST 94

Have you checked the Lithia Toyota parts database online? smile.gif

Never heard of the site but I checked and it is $166 shipped, there is no save at all. I just double check here and it is $162 they drop the price.

thanks any way.

As the title said need a favor from someone is US. my knock sensor is dead and I have a no power, I bought a used one but it seams is not the correct one. there is 3 different types Toyota, Matsu****a and Nippon denso so I checked on Toyo DIY for the part number based on mine and this is the one 89615‑12030 Toyota brand. Toyo DIY price tag is $314 which I think is not right that why I'm wondering the dealer price tag.

I check with my local dealer and is almost $200 and I'm wondering if could be cheap in US with shipping cost to CR with my courier which is 5$ only.

I wont recommend that, When I bought mine they don't look like they gonna fit but then eventually find their place.

why don't you just post a pic of how it looks when you try to fit in, to see and figure it out why they don't do it.

Its not a relay.
There is an ac idle up valve for that. Check to see if yours is connected.

QUOTE (Spider77 @ Jul 3, 2013 - 2:22 PM) *
I believe the valve is adjustable? I remember messing with mine a long time ago.

where is the valve located I try to find it but no luck

Also when the engine is cold revs goes up to warm the engine a bit. this no longer happens. I thing this could be something else o could be part of the issue with the A/C
