Get the front and rear ST205 brakes with rotors, it will be more balance to have 4 pistons at the front, 2 pistons at the rear than 4 at the front with only one at the rear. The swap is easy and can be done within 2 hours! Iam now using TRD pads which is in black colour, the performance is perfect when working with 205 brakes. |

i have the trd coilover kit on my gt4 st205 and the front shocker insert cartrage is away. now ive found on the trd parts site the part number for the insert i need is 48511-ST050 i called fensport uk dealer and they will take 2-3 months to arrive or cost me £80-90 to be air shipped and still take over a week or 2 to arrive. now ive searched and found some people talking about kyb inserts for the trd shockers now does anyone have a part number that fits the shockers? any help much appreciated MOT due tomorow and if they notice the leak then ill have to take the car off the road till i get this sorted. and i dont want it off the road for 2-3 months... Tokico also OEM inserts for TRD and is much much better than KYB. I suggest you find a pair os 2nd hand original ones and wait for the TRD shipping to you. I had used the KYB absorber set and also the KYB inserts before, the KYB set are not much better than the original, the KYB inserts even much worse, they are very easy to leak oil! I am now using the TRD insert OEM by Tokico and I also modified the outer cartrige to house an new insert with more stoke, the performance is excellent even if I use front 10K and rear 8K spring. |

i have a st202 3sge celica and want to get more power out of it, don't want to turbo the car. it is a 94 model thinking of piper 285 cams, double valve springs and vernier pulleys along with a superchip icon igntion remap chip, uprated hks head gasket and arp bolts, with an uprated fuel pressure regulator. Looks like it would get me, off there estimates 22bhp. i would like a 4-2-1 manifold but can't find one to suit and i have a knN air filter and mongoose cat back exhaust with a decat pipe. Any suggestions would be great For your 3SGE ST202, I'll suggest: Tom's Tec II ECU(245PS) Top Fuel intake manifold spacer TRD racing head gasket Denso IK20 Iradium Spark plug Sard adjustable fuel regulator TRD ignition cables HKS cam with adjustable cam pulleys HKS Super Power Flow filter wth intake pipe HKS/FGK/RSR 4-2-1 header pipe HKS Hi-power exhaust pipe Koyo aluminium radiator C-one engine cooling plate Trust oil cooler TRD quick shift set Tom's light flywheel with TRD racing clutch Tanabe stablizer bars(front and rear) TRD/C-one 3pt front strut bar and C-one rear tower bar TRD SUSKIT for CIRCUIT (S.S.S) suspension kit with spring F10 R8 Front 4 pots Rear 2 pots brake kits(swaped from ST205) with Earls brake hoses, TRD/Lockheed AP brake pads |

what is the fastest, best engine to put in my 96 st? Beams VVTI 2.0L 3SGE IDK about that, i recently tried a 3sgte swap, and i think its worth it. It will be more powerful if u swap a 3SGTE with say 245PS, but u have to solve the understeering problem if your Celica is a FWD. Cos I got a parts car ST215 Caldina turbo M/T for my engine swap, but my car is also a FWD, so i still could not make the decision. |

Was there a TRD version of the 6th gen Celica made for the U.S.? If so, does anyone know what the differences were between the two, does anyone have a list of what was in the TRD version and NOT in the standard GT? I just know that there is Tom's version originated from Toyota |
