hey i am selling my 1994 celica gt. i bought the car with a bad rod bearing, so i had the 5sfe rebuilt and it now has about 6000 miles on it and runs great. the only mechanical problem is the valve cover didnt seal rights so leaks a little, but ill fix that soon. also has brand new clutch with the rebuild. the only bad thing about the car is that the whole hood and roof are oxidized along with a dent along the right side rocker panel but would be easy to bondo up. the interior is in good shape. it also has infinity speakers all around including tweeters. and 2 twelve inch dual subs. they are hookde up to a 700 peak watt polk audio amp. im asking 3000 obo so shoot me an offer my number is (360)451-1923 call or text. and i will send pictures because i have dial up so its hard to put them online |

^ i know that... I made sure the cam was at TDC and the crank was at TDC when I did the belt job. I also figured that if I was off a tooth or 2 it should start... I'm going to swap the ignitor one more time and see what happens. i recently just rebuilt my 5sfe and when i went to start it i also had this problem it wouldnt start no matter what i did, so i took off my valve cover and checked my timing and realized that there are two marks on the exhaust cam i believe and i had lined up the wrong dots, so as soon as i relined them back up and putit back together it fired right up. and if they are out of time you should have a weak vacum on your intake so check that |

it may have been rebuilt but do a block check anyway, u might have a blown head gasket if there is no puddle under your car or under the carpet by the passenger side of the dash. we had the block checked also before the rebuild and if a had a bad head gasket i wouldnt i also have oil leaking? is there any fluid where your parking? could just have a crack in the radiator, i got one in mine but its tiny so i only have to fill it up every month or so. turn it on and let it run and look under the car to see if any is dripping out and check the plastic guards at the bottom. could also be your radiator cap is faulty and not sealing properly no there is no fluid and ok ill do that tommorrow and see what i can find |

i just rebuilt my 5sfe motor about two months ago and have had no problems at all and it runs great other than i recently noticed my anti freeze was low so i filled it back up and checked it about two days later and noticed it was low again and im not sure what might be going on. and i dont have any in my oil and the head was pressure checked and what not before rebuild so im sure its not that so any ideas or help would be greatly apreciated. |

What turbo are you running? CT26 or T3/T4? I did happen to find a way around the relocation this past week on Brent build. Also, for more information on the parts you will need, Manny did an awesome writeup on Shannons 5S-FTE, and you can also check out Brent's build thread. After just doing this build/install this past week, please do your research prior to diving into this. There is more involved than meets the eye, especially if you are unfamiliar with these turbo setups. i am going to run a ct26turbo. and ok ill check out those posts. and thats what im trying to do is gather as much info prior to the install so itwill hopefullybe a lot easier when i do it |

If you have a 94 you will be okay. The stock 3sgte downpipe will clear the oil filter, but changing oils will be a pain in the behind. Now if you have a 98 5sfe the oil cooler is located higher which means the oil filter will not clear the dp. ok thanks for the help, and also i am trying to gather a parts list and was wondering what i need electronically besides the two bar map sensor any help would be great |

I have decided to turbo my 5sfe and was wondering what hits the oil filter and if there is a way to get around relocating it |
