dude. asking if the GT-4 front end looks good or if people like it are perhaps the most trite of questions. a vast majority of us like it and think it looks good. dont get me wrong bojangles, im behind ya all the way and i think ur a pretty cool guy, but a better post would've been "**** YEA! GETTIN THE GT-4 FRONT END!" i dunno, i think that has a better ring to it. and that po comment is just stupid. i know a few cops and some of them have the meanest cars you've ever seen. they were actually incorporating them into their work, drivin around in their cars while on duty and trying to race ppl then flipping on lights. then they got ****ed for entrapment, so they dont do that anymore. either way, **** the police. ![]() |

it'd look good on either a HB or a Coupe if u had a CF hood and spoiler. it could work on black, but if u do something so custom like that, i dont see why u would do it on a black car because its not as noticeable. i think it would look good if done right on any color, but especially red, yellow, or a metallic blue. there are a few S2000's with this done, and i've even seen one with a CF trunk and a CF hardtop. looked pretty nice. it was silver i think. anyway if you're into it, you could definitely get it done, they would just have to lay the CF over your existing trunk. prolly take a few weeks and quite a few dollars to do, but any good CF shoip could do it. problem is finding a CF shop. |

ive heard nothing but bad things about the combat fitment and we all know invader will fit nicely. a lot of ppl ON THE SITE have invader, but its unlikely that u will ever come across someone with the invader unless youre at a 6GC meet. i would personally go with the invader if i had to pick between the two, and i second the sideskirts thing. its like you have this sweet front bumper and the rest of the car is stock. not very balanced if ya get what im sayin. |

I second SpedToe, be prepared to pay a bundle and to wait forever. i was actually thinkin about doin this and called up a few places, the originally flat out rejected me because there would be no market and it would cost more to make it just once. i came back and offered to pay as much as they wanted and then said NO WAY when i found out how much it would be. they said it would take a few months and cost me at least $2k. if you really wanna be CF and different, get a JDM CF hood inported. there are a few nice ones. i know there is a GT4 hood and the C-One hood, both for GT/ST and GT-4. that would be pretty tight, but again very costly. more cost effective ideas would be to keep your stock hood and just get it customed like mine is, or to get a CF hood and have it painted. they can paint designs on it and clear coats to tint it to a certain color there are some cool things that people have started doin with stock Cf hoods that make em look sweet as hell. IMO, that invader hood doesnt look too bad. |

painting a whole car gunmetal never ends up lookin too hot, i saw an integra painted gunmetal w/ gunmetal rims and i dunno i didnt like it. the whole car was just blah-looking cuz it was all grey. yea dude if you're going for hardcore all show a custom paintjob like that done right is definitely the way to go, there is only so much bodywork that can be done to a car. when i redo my paintjob im doin somethin crazy custom like that. not flames and i havent decided yet cuz that like 2-3 years away, but its gonna be insane. whatever u pick i bet it'll be sweet, you wouldnt stand for your ride lookin sub-par. |

Haha yep... there's a reason I'm moving to Tampa. I havent been able to drive my car for like 2 weeks because of the weather here in chicago. it sucks! and yea man i havent seen any 6gc's with z3 fenders, of course i have my M Roadster fenders and i havent been on this site for awhile so maybe someone has them now. go for it and good luck, cuz once u get that **** installed you cant have a problem like this agin or you're up ****s creek. |

my buddy's blazer is 2 tone (black/burgundy) with chameleon flames. looks hot as hell. if u can make it perfect like his i would go for it, but if ya can't the definitely don't cuz a job like that is so much work and just to **** it up is terrible. ill see if i can find a pic of it... 1 sec... ah here it is: ![]() so thats what it could look like. hes gonna be in world of wheels at mccormick place this weekend, im pissed i didnt know about it to put my car in there too. but yea man if u do it right it looks sweet as hell. that picture doesnt do it justice. i think either of those paintjobs will look nice, custom paint is the final step in a kick ass exterior. good luck ![]() |

looks NIIIIICE as hell dude. if you want the center vent on the buymper and think its too much you could just make a smaller vent there. there is no regulation size or anything for somethin that custom, you know that. i personally like the center vent as u can see with my ride, but i took a lil different approach to it. that is gonna be one pimp ass celi. question, why is your gas filler cap on the passenger side of the car? mine is on the drivers side. only reason i can think of is that its the opposite side on a JDM celi, but i thought yours was USDM. its gonna look really good. ![]() |

well... u know what my favorite erebuni hoodscoop is... ![]() but i think it would be cool to see a celi with the EVO scoop on it. it'd be something different, and would work especially well if you're going for a more agressive look. if done right i think it'd look pimp as hell. and then there is always the option of doing a really really custom thing that i was going to do but decided not to do. heres the jist of this idea. you get a CF hood. you get the hoodscoop of your choice. you get the hoodscoop molded onto the CF hood. you get the hood painted around the hoodscoop and back behind it, giving you a sweet ass custom look and a nice CF look as well. if you dont understand i could draw it out, but its a pricey endeavor. its like $400-500 for a CF hood, those hoodscoops are around $150 and then who knows how much it would cost for the customization work, probably more than usual because they would have to protect the CF hood and be very careful not to get any fiberglass or anything past where its being painted or the whole thing would be ruined and you would just have to paint the whole hood, which would still come out looking sweet as hell, but if you're just going for looks it wont be what was wanted, but the dropped weight and cooling will help performance either way. its risky but would look sweet if it was pulled off. you would probably be really lucky to get that for less than $800 including the materials and the labor. prolly a better idea to just get a hoodscoop, but if u want something that will never be replicated the CF thing would be the way to go. |

i gotta admit the 2 million color kit is cool, but its a bit over the top. its nice to have that kind of control over it, but come on, most of us only want one color glowing from there, not a crazy rainbow. its cool but a bit much. and i should be talkin, right? lol |

are they just oem replacement or are they like Z3 fenders? yea man anything fiberglass is usually gonna have a bit of fitment issues. i dunno tho as i had my fenders done custom and havent put on a full fender replacement. |

haha snadman my only advice on getting this kit is this DO NOT DO IT! took forever to get here from germany and had to go through customs, customs opened up my boxes and searched all my **** AND THEN made me pay another $200 to get it out of customs. i hear that there are a few companies that will import this thing and it ends up bein cheaper that way but it takes even longer, the guy i talked to said it would take 2 months minimum to get it here so i was like screw that and just got it direct. it was a pain in my ass for so long but ****... lookin at it now just takes it all away. NEVERSTOP- props on the hood hehe. and as for the kit i never liked the rear so i got the invader rear and the invader spoiler without the top deck goin on. looks sweet as hell. now all i need are some pics of it with a hot chic all up on it on the cover of some magazine eh? after this summer im gonna have some power to back up these good looks, so mark my words, this car WILL be on a cover. yea the thing with the kit the whole time was that i knew the pics of it on the website didnt do it justice, gotta visualize the goal, and then you will reach it. well i just got back from some partyin on the beach so im out. LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE! |

dude if youre gonna do it, really think about it. cuz it is one of those things that only you as the owner will notice. i just had all that work done and i didnt shave mine. ill prolly do an s2000 at some point. its one of those things that you will need to point out to people to notice. not really worth the crappy reception or spendin a lot on a window antenna. just IMO. |

i remember doin that. i used a hair dryer and some good ol' elbow grease. heat up the glue and it hurts like hell if your just rubbin it off with your finger i suggest an old rag or somethin. but its prolly easier to do what they said to do. just another method haha. |

ill get a pic of it when i get back. its almost impossible to see without owner's scrutiny haha. and i think it was gel coated. yea man it was primered/ wet sanded. TWICE. had nothing to do with the workmanship, had to do with how the fiberglass reacted to the paint. doesnt look like spiderwebs, seriously looks like the paint popped, like a bubble or somethin. he said the fiberglass was really shoddy, and im not sayin it wasnt. im not gonna argue with him. thanx for the comments |

Thanks for the unexpected positive reply! Ill get more pics up in January. Its christmas so no time for pics and im goin to florida tomorrow. ill take some pics after i get back! Heres the answer to a few questions... Bojangles- the hood is custom. that is an Erebuni hoodscoop molded onto my stock hood. subsolo- it'll be pretty pricey to copy this, and it took almost 2 months! its freakin perfect tho. my painter, tony, is such a perfectionist that he wants to respray the spoiler in the spring after the rest of the paint sets because there were some tiny imperfections in the fiberglass that he wants fixed. i had to really look hard to motice. You could do an engine swap with goodies for the same amount of money that was spent here. your choice... Phat- They're M Roadster Fenders. Had to get just the pieces and mold em into my stock fenders. They were originally supposed to go on the hood, but im happy that we decided to put em on the fenders instead. i was gonna find a different vent or graphic to put on the fenders, but this looks so much better than that wouldve looked. the hood wouldve been a bit too busy and the fenders wouldve looked bare compared to the rest of the car. ToY- My Red Carbon Fiber Dashkit was made by one of the big companies, but i forget which one, i know it was not torasport. they originally sent me a black/red dashkit. but i sent it back and got the RED/RED just look around for it. I'm gonna do all the rest of the accents in red carbon fiber if i can figure out how to do it and make it look good. the kit isnt perfect so if i figure out a better idea ill take it off and do whatever im doing. im gonna try to dye some fiberglass mat red and then epoxy it on the other accents so it looks like i have red carbonfiber accents. if not ill just do really shiny red and take off the dashkit. but i think ill be able to make the pieces to do it so it looks like CF. I think i might end up redoing my interior so everything is red and gunmetal instead of red CF and black. Well only time will tell. Now im just waitin til the spring so i can get the spoiler resprayed, get the tail lights sprayed, and get my graphix put on. the kit isnt THAT bad, now is it? ![]() |

the side skirts and rear bumper are "quasi-molded" there's no seam because it was filled with caulk and painted on the car. doesn't look as good as full out molding, but none of the problems you get with molding. the side skirts look really good without the seam. All i have to do now is wait 90 days for the paint to fully cure so i can get some graphix on there and then my tail lights are gonna get painted too. hes gonna see if he can do a transparent gunmetal, but if he cant hes just gonna go with the transparent red for the tails. its pretty much exactly how i pictured it. |
