It should be 30-35 kilos i mean the exact weight? as in you stepping on the scale with the four shocks in your arms. I'd appreciate it. not that i'll buy them but so i know how much lighter they are over stock. I will see later, approx 35-40% less than stock for my arms ![]() Are the brakes still up for sale? calipers only, or including discs? info about the condition of them and shipping to denmark. Thanks a lot. Claus Still for sale. I have only 1 not usable disc, for mesuraments, and i found a draw of caliper mounts on 2wd on my old pc. For shipping i will ask. If i'm right it should be within 25 to 50€ to denmark. The caliper a are in good neck, only 1 of the 8 pistons has one rubber seal to replace, and it's cheap too. I have the chassis number of the JDM GT-4 donor too, if your dealer ask for it, like mine, for any type of spare parts you could want in future. |

With the GT-4 calipers from Roy, and a rotor to have some try, from The Nameless' GT-4 in the CT20I, my little AT200 will soon have stronger brakes! |

LOL I spent too much too... 2500 € for the car, around 5000 € for MINOR works... And I'm going to spend for the next year at least 1500 € for re-painting it and 2000 € for brakes...And it won't be still enought! XD |

Extremely nice progress, I must say. Very nice modifications, it'll all look nice when the coilovers go on. Although, I don't feel that type of steering wheel really fits a Celica...but that's just me. Good stuff. ![]() Interesting that you went from 225 to 215 series, I actually did the opposite. I feel a bit more stability with the wider tire, but I don't feel like I need the extra rubber. Next tire size I'll try is 205/40/17. The OMP Corsica is the best steering wheel to me, not for the look, but only because it makes you a lot more precise in movements and gives better feedback from wheels... The 225/45 R17 in italy can't be installed on a Celica. The tyre must be max 5% larger or smaller than stock size. I had that tyres only to see how the rims are. |

I was going to do just that, but I decided against it because: a.You will need to cut the mounting holes (areas) completely off as shown in the pic above, other wise the difference is too small to make a bracket. b.You will not lose much (if any) surface contact even if you trim the rotor down to 297mm. Heres why: The outer circle is of course the original 315mm rotor and the inner circle is the 297mm trimmed rotor. Now the surface contact between the pads and the rotor is in red, even if you extend the diameter and use the bigger rotor the surface contact will pretty much remains the same. ...and there is an advantage to the trimmed rotor, it weights less ![]() let me know if my logic is wrong. Yes it is. The more stopping power is not given by the surface contact (the resistence will be preety much the same if you have 1mq or 1cmq in contact), its given by resistence x half diameter. If you have the same caliper, with the same pads and different rotors the more powerful one will be the one that byte the rotor farther for thehub centre. So, using bigger rotors with the same brakets is useless, but making a braket that make you use the full potential of a bigger rotor with the same caliper is the better option, giving the better result. |

The kit is almost done, it will cost beetween 80 and 60€, it's semi-plug'n'play. With the product will come 3 relais (no cheap ones, probably bosh ones), wiring already done, the start button and the switch. The only thing you have to do is unplug the fast-on from the OEM key cylinder and connect it to fast-on on cables to relais. There will be instruction with the package. |

Hmm i think you have to remove the whole block, with the lock steering...it's not easy...when i did it on mine i took one hour or more 'cause you the to break the screw that locks it, it has no head to be harder to steal...i think you can't remove only the cylinder... |
