I was just wasting my time on the internet and came across this picture. And my first impression was that it is a celica cuz of the headlight and then I saw the moonroof and the signals. What do you guys think is it a celica or not. the gray one http://www.frankejames.com/images/20_hindsight_bt.jpg it also looks like a jeep |

Leave the intake how you've got it, Remove every last piece of the stock system, including the huge box behind the fender. It's just a waste of space / weight. And be careful with that cigarette lighter in that arm rest box. Other than that, Welcome. what are you referring to with "huge box behind the fender" |

Well, Im going to do a tune up and hopefully it gets better. How many quarts of oil do I put in the transmission? If its still the same I might end up swapping the engine or I will just sell it and buy a 96-99 Celica liftback. |

For a while my celica has been too slow. This is what happens. When Im in the freeway going at 60 mph, I step all the way on the gas and it takes about 10 seconds to git 70 mph. When Im going at 40 on the road it takes 7 seconds to hit 60 mph. Before it use to take around 9 sec 0 - 60 mpg now Im not sure. Another thing when i hit the gas the rpm goes from 2.5 to 4.5. Before it use to go all the way between 5 and 6. I think this is a problem with the transmission but Im not sure. (its an auto) One thing that might have something to do with this is that a while ago i was racing and i put my transmission on L2 and the rpm went to redline and the car felt like braking. (bouncing) What do you think is wrong. |

Lights are either blown or you've got loose wires. Since I pulled apart my CC unit for the lulz, it has not lit up from time to time. Generally I just give it a tap and it lights right up. As for the shifter, the bulb is blown. It's a bitch to get to but it's a cheap bulb. Sidemarkers are probably also blown, they light up on my 95. kk actually I just got the bulb for the shifter, it wasn't too hard but I cant tell if its blown or not. Im going to check the sidemarkers. I guess the hardest one will be the climate control. |

Hi I have a few light problems in my car and Im hoping some one here can help me fix them. 1. First of all my climate control light are not turning on. Only 2 turn on. I already check for fuses but they seem to be fine. 2. The letters on the shifter and not lighting up at night. ( the P R N D 2 1) also no fuse blown and the speedometer has light and i think they use the same fuse. 3. I have seen some pictures of celicas with their sidemarkers on and mine don't light up at night. Is a 1995 celica not suppose to have light or are they blown. If any one knows what is wrong with my light please help me fix them. |

well im not for sure how many miles mine has cuz the last owner broke the cluster when he tried to reduce the miles. but in autocheck i found out that the car had 23x,xxx miles in the year 2003. He wont tell me how many it really has cuz he thinks i would sue him lol. but im actually glad that he reduce the miles or else i would have never thought of buying a celica. So 6 years later, im pretty sure it has over 300,000. but its starting to leak a lot of oil. I have own it for 10 months and half and it been running good. |

Your English is fine- I didn't even notice anything. I'm more interested in your windshield washer stalk. You have a push button on the end... Mine, to wash the front windshield, I pull straight back on the thing, and to wash the rear window, the end of the stalk twists. But I have a '98 and I noticed your car is a '95. Did Toyota change stalks??? Install looks good! I guess they did. |

Since I found this topic interesting, I decided to go to a junkyard to get a cop holder for my celi. And since the original pics are dead here are mine. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I had to do some modding to it but i it wasn't to hard. Took me about an hour and a half. This is a good cup holder for a manual But it ain't worth it if your car is an automatic like mine. REASON for that... the cups block my stereo. another thing, the coin holder can only hold 2 to 3 quarters per slot, lol. but it sure looks nicer than the stock box. Now I just need to figure out how to erase the letters on the buttons. And excuse my English but it ain't my first language. |
