honda's and acura's got wayyyyy more option parts compared to celica's .....just an example of how much performance a honda can achieve, there is a vid that 94trdceli posted..REALLY fast and really reliable

My 1st car was a civic It got stolen in just two weeks after I got here in san diego (originally from VA)
That car looks like it's an ls motor I was expecting something like a B18c5 spoon crate motor the way it spooled up like that

count me in on this one..... can't wait to drive around spankin little ricers butt all day longggg.....Now I wonder If hey can ship a JDM trueno too?

I don't think it will work for the celica cuz the way mr2 are set-up (engine compartment wise)

there's a lot of cheap 3sgte everywhere..the problem is the labor, just find a friend that knows how to work on cars that has turbo so you can save money.Get the 2nd generation so no hassel but if you got alot of money just get the 3rd gen. Sometimes when you get the motor it includes the ecu and the tranny but if the ecu and the tranny ain't included just go to the junk yard..try to find a 2.2 or 2.0 if you go lower than that your swap will be useless.....

i called toysport and they said it will be cheaper if you do a auto to stick conversion but on my case my wife want's to keep it auto ....so they said buy a 3sgte clip bolt the 5sfe tranny into it and special order a ecu for the turbo motor for $600 they said it will have no problem doing that.....shipping for the ecu will take about 2 weeks thay said.....I will call them tommorow and order the ecu...and for the motor i'm going for jarcoinc!!!!!!!

i'm going to call one of the site's that was mentioned here i'll keep you guys updated if I can use a 3sge ecu auto on 3sgte motor....

you know what talking about swaps how much would everything run me anywayz!!!??

my wife's car is automatic but she can drive stick(slugish tough) so she doesn't wanna take the chance and more work converting from auto to stick....

this is in regard about the other topic in this forum ...I have a 94 gt auto tranny but in my low not trustful knowledge there is no 3sgte automatic at all so is it alot better judgement just to get a turbo(burien)?

so your saying I can put a 3sgte engine and scrap the tranny and bolt the 5sfe tranny into it? doenst make any sense?....

if you will use the burien turbo set-up and greddy exhaust what kind of catalytic converter will you use?...or do you still need one?....for legality sake

ohhh I get it now my apologies I'm just getting into toyota's thnxx so your telling me that only greddy sp exhaust will fit into 94 gt...

will the hks exhaust on the parts department (st205)fit st204 chasis? that was the high power hks system
on emore thing what the difference between 3sfe and 5sfe? (sorry noob here) gotmy eg6 stolen so workin on my wife's car

i'm actually a noob here cuz my eg6 got stolen but when my wife was tellin me that when she bought the car in 94 she got it up to 140.....so I guess It is feasable cuz my wife don't lie.. it's a 94 gt
