Just wanted to say hi to all and show off my new baby. Before this one, I had gotten an 88 model convertible celica off of ebay for $1000 and drove it for 4 years until a lady on a cellphone killed it with her SUV. It was a great little car. But now I am truly in love with this 97 model. Got it off craigslist. It has a limited edition thingy stuck up by the rearview mirror but I have yet to study the particulars of that deal. I am just lovin' the new wheels for now. Almost makes going to work fun.

These are the pics from the craigslist ad:

Foglights are on when the lowbeams are, unless you turn the foglights off, then they won't turn on at all (clearly).

You can rewire them to your own relay and hook it up to the running lights, but you're on your own for that.

K, thanks. Only on when the low beams are on - roger that.

your lights switch have the fog light control where you can control when to turn on the fog lights

OK. They only come on when the switch is turned all the way (when the headlights come on). Can I change it so that they come on before that when only the running lights are on?

1997 GT. My manual says that the fog lights should come on when the tail lights are on. However they only come on when the headlights are on. Does this sound correct? I would prefer to be able to turn them on with just the running lights on and not the headlights. I just got this car so be gentle biggrin.gif
