3rd gen 3sgte. If u want to get Into costs if you buy a full clip you'll be able to sell many of the parts you don't need as I did with my swap which brought the cost down 50% .V6 is garbage its not fast at all and beams isn't worth the trouble for all the work and money. 3rd gen 3sgte hands down best bang for your buck. Reliability faster than hell and you don't have to mod anything to get performance. All I have in mine is a boost controller and 3 inch down pipe and 300 wheel hp. |

Looks pretty good, have you changed the dash lights out to red? That would tie in with the look you're going for. I know some companies make LED kits for our cars. The link is somewhere around here. |

you only need a spacer for the passenger axle. a stock ST185 (all-Trac) axle will work for the drivers side. Erynn, did they get all the gauges to work on your cluster We used axels off the mr2 with some slight modifications including parts off s camry axel from the junk yard PM maksed man or urbandork they can give you exact info I'll have to get details on that. Yes Jeff, Craig wired it up perfectly. |

Do the swap if you can afford it. Keep in mind you'll have to get a transmission as well as Axels to complete it. Everything adds up to a lot ...a lot of money and u will not pass emissions legally. You will have to pay a slum to pass u |

![]() here's my old ride. skunk2 springs, injen intake, s2000 antenna. imo, skunk2 has the best drop. Ohhhhhh nice I love that drop, I'm def. Lowering it. The seller also gave me the stock gts rims which I'm a fan of. The tires on the black rims are new so I wouldn't change them out any time soon but I sure love those gts rims. Very nice and yours is black too! |

what all does it take to refinish the hood? Well my friend is going to do it I think rubbing compound and some other stuff such as polishes and wax and a buffer. It's carbon fiber so idk if it can be restored it was really oxidized, as u can see in the pictures so I put the stock hood on. Hopefully the carbon fiber is salvageable. |

Needs a debage, stat! that GTS badge is like a call out to the annoying ricers. It looks SO much clenaer without that or toyota back there. Get red letter inlays for the hatch handle cover to match the red rim pin stripe. also... NEEDS A STUBBY ANTENNA STAT!! ehhhhh IDK about badge removal, I am a fan of the GTS badge.... as for the antenna, I already ordered it's on it's way |

had an 89 accord as my first car, started to hate it due to the stupid things that kept going wrong with it, went to a toyota dealership to look at a mitsubishi 3000GT and of course 12 years ago there was no way i could afford it and as i was looking around spotted the celica, caught my attention price was right and I loved it. Drove it about 8 years with no major problems, then crashed it and then got a 7th gen, have been driving that DD that for the last 4 years, wanted my toy back so picked up another 6th gen almost 2 years ago. |

City is about 21-24 highway idk I haven't driven it on a consistent long distance trip to accurately quote that. I do drive it hard though... I'm boosting 8psi |

Jeff...ill be honest with you.IN my opinion No one is going to be a Guinea pig and buy this kit at that price..I mean Full 3sgte swaps can be had for that cost if you know the right people!!And for 7afe guys the 4ag(z)e is much more reliable and around the same power for under that cost! No one's being a guinea pig, Erynn already covered that & the results are tested & true. I'll kick in my 2¢ on it, for that matter, especially being an ST owner - I drove her car over Labor Day weekend when I went down for a visit, and it's freakin' AWESOME. The work Jeff did on it is top notch; he's an engineer by profession, and knows what he's doing. He's got the awards on his wall to prove it, too. Erynn's car looks like hell on the outside ( A full 3S-GTE can NOT be had for that cost, unless you score big on the engine. Once you account for incidentals, harness, etc, you're looking at a minimum of 3k. And for us ST owners, it's way more than that, because then you're talking about axles, tranny, etc. So that's a poor analogy. 4a-gze isn't "much more reliable" either, sorry, and nor can it be had for under that cost with the same power. Superchargers are NOTORIOUS for going out, I'd hazard to say much more so than turbines. You're looking at about 160-180 HP depending on which generation you get, and even with that, good luck finding one domestically. I've researched the HELL out of this, and I'd say that a 4a-gze swap into an ST is going to run *about* the same amount. So really, it comes down to a matter of personal preference. Do you want to drop in a 4a-gze for about 180 HP w/out modifications, or do you want to turbo the 7A and get about 200-215 HP off the bat? Then you start getting into HP potential (and more money) for either route when you start looking at mods and upgrades. Thanks Michelle, you summed it up for everyone, and yes it does look like hell |

I have a GT auto and I get around 28cit/33-35hwy. I haven't really had any problems with mine and its got 103k. I personally love the style inside and out and have been thinking about getting a GTS later on. The 6spd transmission is pretty cool, I'm sure you wouldn't be dissapointed with it, I don't mind my auto personally I get sick of driving stick every day in sothern CA, but if you're getting rid of your 6th gen I would get it in manual. I haven driven them both in Auto and Manual. OF course Manual is much more fun and powerful but if you commute alot in traffic, the auto isn't that bad. If you are going to turbo it, a GT 1zz model takes a turbo set up easier than a GTS model 2zz. |

my 2 cents bc its my car: the difference is amazing, it's not the same car, literally. The power gain is very impressive. I will be getting a dyno after we change out the clutch and upgrade the down pipe on the exhaust. I am so happy with my car, I still can't believe that my 7a is performing like this. |
