talked to my father, who is doing all the packaging and shipping. According to him he has mailed 6 orders so far and has tracking numbers for all of them. he also told me he has everything else i have pulled off packaged up and ready to go with the exception of one order. BUT! as for everyone getting there tracking numbers, i have deleted all my previous messages in my folder so if your worried about your tracking numbers, PM ME! Also, if your going to text me please do it at reasonable hours as its not very convienient to get messages when i'm at work, in a meeting, during dinner, or sleeping when it wakes me up . . you can text me but please be considerate as to my eastern time zone. sorry if there has been any confusion whatsoever. and i don't mean to seem like a rude person but i do my best to help everyone i can whether it be on the site which i love being a member of or whether its in person. But i get frustrated when i am doing this to help both of us but have said that i am a busy person and get demands like crazy or People talk bad of me when i don't reply within 8 hours. i mean come on guys, be reasonable. So like i said, PM me for your information and i will get it to you as soon as i get your message, but for the most part i'm assuming everything will be on your doorsteps/mailboxes in 3-12 days depending on how far your distance was from me. everything was shipped USPS. IF THERE ARE STILL ANY DOUBTS , MANY OF OUR MEMBERS WILL TELL YOU THAT I AM A GOOD GUY TO DEAL WITH. YES THERE HAS BEEN SOME ISSUES IN THE PAST WHEN I FIRST JOINED THE SITE BUT I TOOK CARE OF SAID ISSUES IMMEDIATELY AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION. SINCE THAT TIME NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM HAS ARISEN AND I AM NOT TRYING TO RIP ANYONE OFF OR TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ANYONE. I AM ONLY TRYING TO HELP KEEP THE 6TH GEN CELICAS LOOKING GOOD WHILE MAKING A LITTLE BIT OF MY MONEY BACK FOR BUYING THE PARTS CAR FOR WHAT I NEEDED IT FOR. HOPEFULLY IF ANYONE I HAVE SOLD ITEMS TO PREVIOUSLY SEES THIS YOU CAN SHED SOME LIGHT ON THE SITUATION THAT I AM A GOOD GUY AND I'VE ALWAYS BEEN A BUSY PERSON THATS JUST SLOW TO SHIP AND SOMETIMES EVEN SLOWER ON COMMUNICATING DUE TO HAVING A HECTIC PERSONAL LIFE. Now with all that being said, If there are any more parts being needed off the car Please get ahold of me because i will be taking this Shell to the Scrapyard at the end of the month. Thank you 6GC. truely yours Michael Novak. |

You need to calm yourself! I took care of all my negatives, ask those who left me it. I work 12-18 hours a day sorry I try to have a life as well as spend time on 6gc. I've messaged you. Chill As for everyone else that's bought something, I have to check with my father who takes everything to the post office to see what's been shipped and what hasn't and i'll be sending out tracking numbers. |

well, badish news. i knew my thermostat wasn't working right because my car hardly ever gets hot. and the air is always luke warm, but i opened the radiator cap and i can't see any fluid , but i do see what seems to be rusty water gunk. . . so the game plan is to remove the radiator and thermostat from my parts car, and install them on my vert. theres no way i'm buying new when they only have 300 miles on them lol. and if i have enough time and feel up to it tomorrow i may go ahead and cut off the exhaust from the flex pipe back of my parts car and have it welded onto my vert as well considering its only 6 months old and is 2.25 exhaust. i shall post some pics in the morning |

When you buy a set of driver side projectors because they're such a cheap price for a change, even knowing how hard it will be to find the single passenger lights lol |

100 lbs won't make that huge of a difference, especially considering the whole car will be gutted and we'll lose some weight there as well. and czwalga, i thought about the tempting idea of a sbc 350 in there with rwd conversion after seeing the guy in wv sucessfully do that swap to his 7th gen celica You should put an SR20 in there. Gotta do it more than a week before Race Wars though, those things start to pull a premium. okay johnny tran (; |

We've gotten 2zz into xds before. Its a good motor. Redlining at 8-10k. Its great but your not gonna like it cause it lacks torque. Weight wise. Were not too far. Corolla xrs are about 2600lbs. Xd's just about that. But your gonna have to fabricate many pieces. Aftermarket suppport. Tons But if ur going n/a its an expensive game. They gotten up to 250hp but that's stroked motor and whatnot The engine can and are a powerhouse. Get up to 350hp on stock internals. Not bad for a high compression motor. But the engine does have some weak spots nd so does the trans. Some people beef up the trans but people realize its best to make the smaller step further and get the 2zz mated to an E153 thanks for the input. i plan on running boost. going to keep the internals stock for now, figure why not since it only has 71k miles and runs great plus id like to get it in the car and running before i dump cash into the engine. |

I don't see wiring being a huge issue if you can figure it out, but what are you going to do as far as axles? Custom made axles from a local shop, going to take the whole car in when i get the engine dropped in and everything bolted in and welded securely. 3S-GTE! 3s-gte is like herpes on this site... everybody has it anymore. Smaay-- i am still doing a v6 swap as well, but it will be going in my Vert. and i was going to ask you to give me a hand with something for my project if you can pm me brother. This kid can do anything, didn't you read his thread about putting smaller wheels on the rear? ![]() thanks for the support brother. that thread was just to see if there would be any issues with wearing unevenly. the best engine builder in the world can know absolutely nothing about suspension. you seem to be judgmental. |

not sure of the FF part. but drifting is okay . its alot more fun/easier in a rear wheel drive like my camaro rather then my celica. but i like drifiting. in the winter. i feel like this is going to be something just to make fun of me but go ahead and continue. |

the cool thing i see are that 2zz are now being abundant on Ebay, i guess an ST platform would be easier that a GT, but anyone can put any engine in any car. I guess youll probably run into a lot of obstacles, but at least originality is there, about time someone here had the balls to attempt something most people say its a waste of time. who knows? put pics as you go... Very true Noberto.. i actually found a car here locally in a salvage yard that was totaled from a rear/side colision and my buddy owns the yard so he told me if i pull it i can have it for 500 bucks and it includes, engine, trans, axles, ecu, harness, and anything else i want to pick off.. (only 71k miles on the car) and i agree 100%, i'm sick and tired of all the "GO 3sgte !!!" bullpucky. plus everyone saying it cant be done just makes me want to do it more. once someone hears it can't be done no body even tries it.. its time to put a stop to that RIGHT MEOW!! |

i have decided to put off the v6 for now and i'm going to put a 2zz into my project celica. i will be posting pics as i get more and more into it. in the next couple days i'll have the 5s out and be picking up the 2zz and 6 speed trans. i can't wait to get this going and be the first of its kind. gonna be fun making the custom mounts and doing the wiring though! but yay for originality! (: my thoughts on this swap go from the facts that the 7th gen 2zz engine is known to be a powerhouse, along with the facts that there is so much aftermarket support for it and parts are fairly cheap but very easy to get at a moments notice! what do you think? |
