Car is burning excessive oil, especially after sitting for some time (white/blue smoke) was told it needs valve seals. How much of a pain is this job? can it be done when the engine in the car? or does it have to be removed?

Hello!
I have a 1996 celica and the clutch is garbage due to the fact the rear main seal is leaking all over it. Going to replace the rear main seal. but figured its time for a new clutch. This is not a project race car, this is just a point A to point B car. I enjoy this car very much. 305xxx and want to keep it running. trying to see whats out there for clutch and flywheel options that wont cost me an arm and a leg but is reliable. Thanks

Exedy OEM Replacement or go to Toyota for an OEM Replacement

Thanks! I actually work at a Toyota dealership. but was checking out my options. I will be installing a factory Toyota rear main seal.

When you bought it did you make sure you got the right amount of amp output on it? (Which I believe is 80 amps)

I got the right one, made sure they looked it up right at autozone. this is after they gave me the wrong one the first time.
