I found a rubber plug which I put in place with some automotive glue its not hella flush and has a black plug like my buddies racing crx whos done the same but it does the job and makes it nice I didnt do it for looks tho when I got the car the wiper was busted so it was cheaper to remove and plug than to get a whole new assembly

And the rain doesnt really bother me its not that bad. Not sure what to tell you about to much rain, I live in TN and when Nashville Flooded I didnt really see any problem but the old tent on my window makes it hard to see any way so idk lol

QUOTE (block @ May 1, 2011 - 10:15 PM) *
im debating on whether i want to sell these or keep em'. im not exactly sure yet. ill make up my mind in a couple days if i get enough interest in these. i work late into the night and even with glasses, i dont see well enough on the road because of the angle of the jdm lights. i would prefer to have lights lighting both sides. why dont i just fix the lights so it faces both ways? i can but hell, i sure as hell dont want to digest and screw up $600 worth of projectors. these are in excellent condition with no broken tabs at all. all you get are the jdm lights. asking $550. here's the thing though, i'd have to get usdm's for exchange. thanks, pm is best as i am on the is300 forum a lot.

did u ever decide on what you were doing with these projector? uve piqued my interest

ummm
use a hair dryer to heat it up
then pour some goo gone
then use some floss or fishing line
i wouldnt use a razor blade but u can if you are careful with it
its gonna take a bit of time and some elbow grease either way
oh and heat it up every so often but make sure any adhesive remover is dry cause it could catch fire

i love the idea
i would have tried to strech them tho like was previously stated
you could have cut them
taken a couple lengths of balsa or bass wood
over layed some thin pink sterofoam insulation stapled thet to the balsa or bass wood frame
then over that layed down fibre glass then a bit of bondo then another bit of fiberglass and bondo
then smoothed it out
Thats how several one off car makers do it

thats how i have mine set up and it works perfectly
