Yeah gas mileage is an issue but as i said the bmw 325i i was looking has LPG injection witch is 2 times cheaper then petrol. 1 gallon of gasoline is around 7$ here so its an issue. But i am sure the bmw gets a better mpg than the audi.i just want a faster good handling car.as an old car it is expected to have problems.good newer cars are really pricy. The 328i is a good car too but im not really not a fan of low end torque cuz if you trow in some cams ( bmw cams really easy to get) you lose the heart of the car cuz its not made to go past 6k rpm.and if you someday turbo the car you need higher rpm too keep up with turbo. Turboing bmw's is really good here a lot of parts. |

maintenance isn't really an issue. as i do everything my self.I've done everything from driveshafts to engine piston rings and valve stem seals on my 6gc celica. My experience with cars so for: 1st car Opel/Vauxhall Omega A 1991 3.0 24v(good car good power but a bit to heavy, soft and ugly),second car BMW e36 - 320i (Good car great driving position and stuff, not enough power tho consumed as much petrol as an 328i) my last car an Celica 6g ST 7afe(very good car, love the looks , engine easy to work on, but the power is just too low, and i hate fwd).Had alot of issues with the celica changed nearly everything on the car , wheel hubs piston rings, valve stem seals, nearly every suspension part, clutch and some other stuff.I even did a ITB setup on the car but no use without cams and pistons.I don't know if i picked a badly maintained car and the roads here are just awful . So im looking for a new toy! I would love a Supra or an SC300 or an Celica GT4 but these cars here are REALLY rare so price is off the edge and part prices for toyota is just x2 german cars. |

yes the s6 is a pretty rare car here but the e36 you can get everywhere and parts are pretty cheap. i just got back from the state on a student program(Work and Travel) work my ass off all summer and got some money so...both cars are cheap im looking for a good cheap "performance" option. i got a job now too so i dont think it will be a much of a problem. |

On the valve (cam) cover: Large hole (pcv valve) was plumbed to the catch can. Smaller port (which went to intake manifold) was blocked off. On the intake manifold: Large port (pcv valve) was plumbed to my boost gauge. Smaller port (which went to valve cover) was connected to my blow off valve. You cant block that small hole on the valve cover!!! No wonder you blow your headgasket! I made an ITB setup on the 7afe did the same thing and blew the valve cover gasket and rings! |

I'm Running a set of cbr 954 itb's on stock ecu. The Air fuel mixture seems right enough. It runs a bit run at low RPM and a bit lean on high but all on save figures. When i rev the car on natural there is no problem at all. When I start running on every gear i press the throttle a bit too hard and the engine starts choking and there is no power at all. Only i get acceleration by pressing throttle really slowly. Is it the transmission or i need longer velocity stacks i dunno any suggestions? |

the map sensor is on a separate vacuum coming from ITB's stock vacuum lines. I put the stock 7afe injector and it runs better.I will see the map sensor reading and map readings. BUt ill defenetly need a remap. |

the map sensor reading is from a separate vacuum hose coming from every single ITB and going into the map sensor and fuel pressure regulator.it's way too rich. i think ecu played with the ignition aswell. any suggestions. i need to get an piggyback or standalone but any other conclusion? |

the thing is that you don't need larger then 40mm throttles. cuz the port is small. i dont know how big are the BT itb's. but these cbr954rr throttles will give good velocity (will add) velocity stacks too) |

so m8's here's the progress ITB's are rdy and will be mounted tomorrow to hear it ROAR ![]() Here's the TPS sensor plate that i made my self.If you want to do it this way you need to put the plate exacly the same way for the tps to match to bolts(You need to make tps holes a bit bigger) ![]() I placed the vacuums in the existing injetor holes in the itb cuz i wont be using them. makes a good vacuum for brakes and things ![]() Here it is from above. the full thing ![]() Ah and now the good staff a vacuum tank .Cuz i said this is realy low budget build it's homemade from a pvc pipe ![]() i will be glad to see what you thing i'll upload a video of the first start of the car. Next thing new cams and high compression pistons |

I don't think so. In fact i think steep angle is really better for making power nearly all modern engines have steep angles, F1 cars have even narrower head design ( And they too use ITB's) Hayabusa has a very close valve angle to the 7a/4a - fe engines. We'll see. |

I'm Starting Individual throttle bodies project on the 7afe.I'll be putting CBR954RR throttle bodies witch have 40mm inlet on the vacuumed side witch line up fairly good with the Stock 7afe intake manifold. The throttle bodies go from 44mm on the trumpet side to 40mm in the vacuum, witch i think will make good air velocity for the stock FE head. I intend to make a vacuum box to collect the vacuum from the ITB's and spread them in the bigger hoses for brake, map sensor,Fuel pressure regulator and etc(I have yet to figure out all the detail). I will be using 315cc Supra injector witch i've tested with the stock manifold(And it goes way rich). What has been done so far is that I've cut the stock intake(Which i've got from the junkyard) and tomorrow i will see where exactly will they match up. I intend to use the stock 7afe injector fuel rail and mount the itb's after it. Tomorrow ITB lining and cutting a bit more if needed. Ah and forgot i will be using stock 7afe map sensor, TPS sensor and cbr1000rr manual idle air controller. If anybody is interested in this I'll be happy to see your opinion. I hope I make all clear tomorrow I'll make some good pics on all parts so far and all i intend to do |
