Hey, having a problem with my headlights on my st202 94 model,

Basically i have H.I.D's on low beam and one side keeps blowing fuses for some reason, i tried changing the ballasts over to see if it happened on the other side but it stayed on the same side, I then removed the H.I.D.s and fitted the normal bulbs again but still the same thing, and also since this started happening my high beams are slightly lighting up even when switched off and they work fine when i do switch them on, i cannot see anything obviously wrong as in bare wire or water damage on the wires. also before i bought the car two spot lights were already installed which are wired through the headlights, has anybody any ideas on what could be wrong? any checking procedures to go through? any ideas at all would be greatly appreciated and i have a feeling to find this problem its going to mean removing my veilside bumber and i really dont wanna risk damaging that!, this problem is really annoying me at this stage!!!!

do you have cruise control?

no doesnt have cruise control its a very basic model other than the bodywork, no airbag in steering wheel either which i want to change

buy the mid 90's accord CAI and take a hacksaw too it to shorten it (this cai is used on the 5s-fe) you gota cut it becuz the throttle body sits closer to the rad than the 5s-fe then just tie it together with a 3" rubber fitting and 2 hose clamps smile.gif local auto store!

just had a look at them intakes there looks good might give it a try thanks for your help smile.gif

Hey mate. is it a 3SGE or 3SFE engine. I am in UK, I have an intake pipe and filter that will fit your car. It is used and needs cleaning so only want £35 including postage.

Also if you want ignition leads for the 3SGE look here.

Thanks a million mate but ive gotten one from a local suppier and i just made my own piping so seems to be doing the job,
them leads look good but mines the earlier 3sfe engine,is there much of a difference between the two?
also wondering would it be possible to just swap my head for a 3sge as i heard they are the same block?

thanks for the reply. . .

Hey guy's,

I'm relatively new to the celica world and seem to be having trouble finding mods!!!
I have a 94 2.0 gt (jap import), non beams and i cannot find a complete cold air induction kit anywhere on the net!!! does anybody know where to look for the 6th gen mods as most irish and uk sites dont do a whole lot for this model.

Any ideas at all would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance. . .
