@ mgnt232, its lamborghini orange. There are 2 types, with a white underground and a orange underground. I wanted a bright effect, so it is the white underground. Indeed it's a lot of work, about 10-12 hours each unit. I tought about a smiley to but its "to happy" on a car hahaha. Create a cross or something. My first idea was the YYY in the lamborghini aventador tails.

Thanx Malpaso

@rave2n: can you explain that, i dont get it haha

A long time ago (oktober 2013) I started to try something different with my kouki tails. Because kouki tails are not so special anymore tongue.gif
I love the audi tail lights with the ring outside

So I started to play a little

And then I started. The first was ready last year, butt because my dad went to the hospital and building a gardenhouse, i had no time. So on 2 januari I started with the second tail light, and here is the result.

There are 170 leds and 170 resistors in 2 units. Building time 1 unit, 11 hours tongue.gif:P:P

The leds and resistors are sealed with silicon (A LOT of SILICON tongue.gif) I only have to repair 1 led in the right unit. Tonight 1 make some nice pics in the dark
Its only the normal running light, the brake light is the Original bulb, because i dont want to kill the leds with the different powers.

And the next project started yesterday, LED indicators tongue.gif

So enough porn this weekend tongue.gif

Here you see the silicone, the leds and the resistors. And WHERE I drilled the holes.

At the front side, the light comes out of the thin dark line

@ toyota123: Here in the Netherlands we dont have to put on the lights 24/7. So i put them on when its dark. They replace the normal backlights. But i keep the original brakinglight.

@Special Edy: I drilled the holes in the backside of the tab, and thats just next to the bumpy texture, see the next pictures below.Yupp every led got a own resistor. 80 leds---> 80 resistors. I create groups of 20.

@ Bloodmoney: I am very creative with silicone biggrin.gif

Thats a very nice upgrade. Good job. Only the gap of the high beams looks unnatural. I prefer 2 holes where you can create 1 gap for the airfilter and 1 gap for engine cooling. But again a great job

Because everyone has the kouki tail lights, i'd like to try something new.
Drilling 80 holes with 80 leds, and 10 hours work on 1 taillight, is this the result.

This week i try to build the unit on the car, and then we will see how it look like.
