I know the celica chassis is a completly different animal than my 7th gen civic, but what we can do for the whole oversteer/understeer issue is change the sway bars. Big front/small rear= Understeer Small front/big rear= Oversteer Just a thought |

Would it be at all possible to get more pictures of this? More interior, exterior, engine bay, the exhaust, and this 3s engine! |

I dont own a 6gc anymore, but i always find myself lurking on here and serching craigslist for a nice one to come around...but now i own a 7th gen civic and have a set of rokkor coilovers installed. Rokkor is made by raceland, difference is rokkor has slightly stiffer spring rates. I was on tein s-techs and stock struts which eventually blew of course and wanted to just get new struts. Comparing the price of the coilovers ($369 w/3 year warranty) and decent struts ($400+ no warranty depending where buying from) coilovers were a great deal. And the ride comparision between the s-techs and the rokkors is night and day. Despite my worn strut mounts the ride is not all that harsh pretty comfortable for a daily, they handle corners well. Like the site says the height adjustment is 1-3 inches which is damn low and with a 3 year warranty can you complain? Just figured id shine some light on this for you guys, i remember how slim the aftermarket support is for the 6g.... good luck! |

Looking to see if anyone on here would like to buy my celica. Would make great swap canidate. I purchased it roughly 2 years ago off a friend that bought it off ebay. Replaced 5s with a used 5s because when i bought it the motor was seized. the good: southern car with no rust clean interior with 7th gen seats engine starts, runs, drivable tranny shifts with no grinds, smooth. things done during engine replacement: full gasket set, timing belt & water pump exedy stg. 1 clutch new oil pump assm. new axels both left & right after engine replacement: fuel filter temp sensor 02 sensor distributor ebay headers, 2.25 exhaust pipe, vibrant ultra quiet res, magnaflow street series muffler 4" tip. ebay intake. pioneer head unit 8' kicker mid subs front sony 4ways rear full paint job done me at school in 2009 ( toyota 1B9 quicksilver ) the bads valve train is louder than normal, compared to my civic..... could never get it to pass emissions because of a lean condition. replacing 02 sensor seemed to fix it but got my civic before i could take it to get tested I also side swipped a guard rail not too long after painting and put a dent down the front fender and rear quarter. I replaced fender and repaired most of the rear quarter but never got around to repaint. This my my first car and i became attached. It is an awesome ride, but I dont have the money to keep it around and dont know when i will. Im asking $2200 obo local pick up only (unregistered in CT). Or will ship at buyers expense. Shoot me an offer, worst i say is no. Pictures:http://s235.photobucket.com/albums/ee114/jalouben/94%20celica/ |

I had only one side of my lighting do this, where i would be driving and it would go off and on quickly as if you blinked. i have 8k HIDs. Turned out to be a bad bulb, i found some new ones on amazon and ive been good from there on out. Luckly i was able to determine bulb from ballast because it was only one side. Both sides would be tough. However i did notice that the bad bulb had a cloudy look inside where the little "bubble" is, new bulb is clear. Hope this helps. |

Hello all, i am looking for a decent used 5s and 5spd trans. Hoping for low miles under 120k for decent price. My engine is becoming tired and i wouldnt mind something fresh to keep the celi on the road. I have considered swapping for the beams, but seems to be more work than what im up to. There was a fellow on here not to long ago selling a manual conversion and 5s for around 600 i believe, not sure if he sold it but would be nice to hear from them. |

motor doesnt have much mileage to it just rebuilt it last month, maybe two. but it was burning oil bad before i rebuilt (at least 5 quarts within a week) so i was thinking maybe oil pump is worn out from being low on oil at times. I dont have a problem buying one, but just rather be pretty sure that guessing thats the problem as i just put down cash on rebuild costs. im sure some of you guys can understand lol. |

Getting disturbingly low oil pressure. brought the car to be diagnosed, one of my issues was that after driving for half hour maybe longer, at IDEL rpm only, the oil sensor light would come on sometimes just flicker. mech called me and told me that at 3k i was only pushing 15psi which is damn low. i dropped my oil pan yesterday to have a look see and everything looked ok. my bearings were tight, that and i never had any knocking noise while driving. my pick up screen was clean and clear. only thing i can think of would be oil pump but how could i tell without pulling it off? |

well, the ST i found only has 94k on it for 3000, which i dont find to be too bad of a deal considering the condition it is in and that it has always been garaged and never driven in the winter. And yes, yarik is right, i think about that all the time, however i just brought my car to the garage the other day to have it checked out. my oil pressure is only at 15pst @ 3k when the manual stats it should be around 36 and up. i also run lean, and my mech told me they didnt pull up any codes when they checked it. For me, i have already sunk enough money into it to try to get it running right. but it is nice not having a car payment. I really want a 02-03 scooby but im not too sure considering repairs might be costy, but i never owned one so i wouldnt know |

If its just light over spray you could use 2000 or 1500 wet sand, that usually takes stuff like that off pretty well. doesnt do any damage too the paint and al you have to do is wipe up excess water then buff the areas you sanded. i did this with primer over spray i had. |

yes ive had this code for a good year now. EGR should be good, i cleaned it pretty well a few months back during my engine rebuild. Ill be looking into a new o2 and hope that works. Would this also cause me to not have the cold start funtion? |
