I didn't see this posted anywhere, so I figured I would just post this.
To remove the caliper, you only have to loosen the screw on bottom rear of the caliper.
You can then rotate it 180 degrees upwards, push it backwards, and the top will just slide out.
(There is no screw on the top)

Then to remove the caliper/rotor housing, there are two 14mm bolts on the front side of your car.
Voila, everything that you need to get to that rotor is not loose or off. Good luck!

A B

C D

Imagine these letter as the driver side brake assembly.
A and C are the Caliper housing bolts
B is the pin that slides out to release the caliper
D is the bolt you have to remove. I believe it is a 12mm, if not 13mm.

So, here I am just having done the body work for my deer incident and replacing the windshield. Now I have been thrown another of life's curve balls. I own a 95 Toyota Celica, Manual, with a 5SFE North America. When driving I sometimes feel a rumble in the cabin shortly after engaging 2nd-4th gears it seems. Furthermore, if I hit the gas to hard, the RPM shoots up with barely any power to back it and then return down to a slow progression upwards. The car doesn't attempt to shut off (yet) but I really don't know what the issue is. Ii have no engine lights or anything like that turning on and the cabin smells like a burning rubbery smell after longer drives. Anyone know what's going on?

I understand, but I figured at the very least it wouldn't hurt to take out a couple of seconds to reach out to fellow enthusiasts. That's all.

A deer hit my car as I was driving down my local Rt. 46. It hit the windshield, front passenger roof and damaged the passenger door and fender. AS all of you do, I adore Toyota, Celicas, and especially

6 Gens. This is the second Celica I had to see in a bad spot and this time I'm in no position to get it back up and running myself, especially since I'm a full time college student. What I'm asking for, is all

of you who can do so, please send help in any way you can. My phone number is (973) 886-4109 I don't want to get rid of this car unless I can get another one, and swap whatever parts I need. Even

then I would miss my first 6gen.

If there is anything you can send or sell cheaply, I live at 414 Stonegate Ln., Stanhope NJ 07874

Thank you all in advance, for your passion and support. Thank you!

Does anyone know what the top blue-ish green thing is. I looking it up and the coolant temp sensor is what it connects to.

Yeh, its a nice exhaust from what I've read, heard and watched. I just put my Injen SRI in today. That actually made a world of difference to an otherwise bonestock Cel.

Hey guys I just wanted to make a forums where we can all share our websites that we purchase our parts from. From here we can review our recent purchases off of websites and state whether they were authentic parts, quality scams, etc.

I recently found this website and I wanted to know if anyone has purchased anything from here.

I'm a Jersey 6GC. With our weather, it probably doesn't make much sense to put in a CAI because I'm thinking if its closer to the bottom then, chances are rain water and all that are going to get sucked in. Any thoughts?
