I had to make a hard choice today and as such been rough my mother has fallen ill and she needs surgery which is too expensive so I sold my celica to pay for it and for now i am using a bus to get to 2 diff jobs i wanted to say that even in the short time i was on here you guys were full of knowledge and very supportive and i plan to come back asap i never looked at my celica as anything more than transportation but these forums with the support of so many members have shown me how much we all can love this car.....

It's located on the top back of your tranny. It's a black connector with 3 wires coming out of it. Unplug it, remove the sensor (not simple but not too bad with the engine in the car)

I Need a ST speed sensor for a manual located on top of the trans.
Shooting a code 42 fuses are good everything else is good last thing is the sensor

Anybody selling a ST manual trans speed sensor?

Needed to change them since the day i bought the car so just wanted to see peoples interactions with some companys
Few things this is my DD and until my new job kicks in thats all this will be used for is getting me to work and back other than that no quick plans for swaps performance mods etc just basic stuff.
Here are a few that i found:[If i dont say New then its a reman]
A1 Cardone (New): 74.86 each No core charge
GSP (New): 69.99 each No core charge
Op (New): 66.95 each No core charge [Scion people love these cause they fit perfect and come with OEM dampers]
Raxles (best): 130.00 each No core charge [The best period but right now cant afford these and i need to get these fixed NOW lol]

So im think either buy some new axles from an auto store or online until i can afford some Raxles which are the best...period

What do you think and if you have changed yours let me know who you used and how kit worked out please i plan to buy Monday.

gonna check codes tmw looked all thru my haynes manual lol couldnt find too much on the fuses which one would i looking for exactly?

I'm assuming its the speed gear on the transmisson

I have to replace my speed sensor gear since my speedometer is out im guessing thats the problem car is shooting codes havent checked but when i bought it it wasnt reading any MPH this friday im going to a junkyard and they have 2 toyota celica's in my year but dont know the series GT or ST plus whats already taken hoping i can get a fender and some sidelights lol but my question is that if i wanted to get a speed sensor and the celica's dont have it can i go to the corollas like the 1993-1997 ones and get a speed sensor gear or are they diffirent?

I need help im putting together my part list [I use it as a roadmap for any of my cars helps alot trust me...this is the first car that im also adding visual mods to the list]

What front bumper is this?
Ignore this found it C-One bumper any other place i can buy it? 900 dollars just to pay for it not including shipping from C-One japan


And then what Rear bumper, side skirt, and fender is this?


I looked and there are so many similar kits to these but not them exactly my goal is to replace fenders and front bumper and back bumper totally cause they are already in bad shape and instead of fixing them [I prob will so i can help out a member] i just wanna replace them.

Yep i read your fender and side skirt post and saw all the hate but look at the mouths dropping now i like that fender vent its something diffirent and for that i applaud you!

And not cause im cheap but because im broke but projectors for our cars are so expensive (thanks to poor aftermarket support) so I'll risk the cops here although i do want 8k Highs and 8k lows

I'm an integra guy (well used to be lol) and for us we HAVE to get diffirent headlights to have HID's but i read the tut on HID's and it has one showing somebody putting them into a stock headlight is that safe? or is there something im missing?

I've looked using the search button before i came to ask this.

Has anybody have a tutorial on how to remove P/S and all its parts?
Before i get blasted here are things i will say before anything gets said just so were clear.

1. Owned a four door integra which weighed after weight mods 2,510 pounds with no P/S
2. A two door ST coupe weighs 2,395 pounds so im fine with driving without it thank you
3. Want to have arms like Popeye
4. Tired of dealing with the whole system anyway its going bad and i rather would remove it
5. Dont care much for P/S
6. Like the feel of being more in control on the road
7. Understand that i can put it back in case i do want it back (Not gonna throw it all away)
8. Need to know how to make sure it will run fine fluids etc do i need to make a custom fluid rez or something

I'm looking to do most of my dash in carbon fiber doesnt have to be real (expensive) but at least look good i've been looking around but most of what i see is mostly stuff like this Dash Kits

I assume that these are just stick on? in that case i would rather do the carbon fiber does anybody know where somebody sells dash peices with Dark faux paus carbon fiber? or even show me who sells some real ones. I dont have a garage at the moment or else i would make it carbon fiber myself.

Aside from that i searched but nobody has an answer to making maybe custom cup holders in our cars. Unless you have the rare JDM armrest worst cup holder placement EVER.

I love neon underlight kits but they have to be done right to not look "ricy" but your are looking good. Im on the fence about them on my celica but im thinking just hook it up to a relay switch.

Ya would be hard to put that much money into a car and not have boost miss the GSR but the 3sgte seems to be the choice for me guess now my power goals are now 330-340 horse

Gonna do a 3SGTE swap with a MR2 LSD tranny doesnt seem like 300+ on a FWD would be that much fun without a LSD...

Ya im crunching numbers to see if its even worth doing a turbo on the 7a...looking to be that its not gotta throw in some extra numbers

Renting some place to do all of it-Unknown amount

thanks for the info i dont need the spoiler but im selling mine lol i have a 2 post...i dont think i wanna go 3sgte would rather stick with a 5s mainly cause i can find them like everywhere and easier swap since for the time being as i just moved here im garage-less lol
