I want to buy the front struts from a gt. The ones with the threaded piece that allows you to insert the cartridge. I do not need the actual cartridge itself. |

Do you have the stock front shocks for your car? Or just the front part that you insert the cartridge into? |

The front shocks on certain models are non rebuildable. I checked at a couple places and for the 1998 celica gt convertible it is not. If I cut off the top and insert the cartridge what keeps it in place? Can someone detail this process so that i know exactly what to do. |

My dad has a 1998 Toyota Celica GT convertible. We got some KYB GR2's part numbers: 365092 AND 334125 AND 334126. We also have H&R sports. For the front shocks they are just the cartridge (straight tube with nothing on it). There is no perch for the spring to rest on. What am i supposed to do (about there being no perch)? I looked at the suspension install DIY article but i need to know specifically about this aspect of the install. Thanks for your help. |
