The roads are not as curvey but the Driftwood area is nice. There is a good BBQ place in Driftwood just southwest of Austin called "The Salt Lick", if you want to end there and have a bite. It was nice to meet everyone. I was sorry I missed the cruise but my alternater crapped out and my car went dead at the gas station. A bigs thanks to Dave for helping jump my car the four to five times it took to get me to a Walmart. With the new battery I was able to get home safely. Dave lunch is on me next time we meet. Jim |
