I got the Del Sol, and I am picking apart the many stupid decisions that previous owners have made over the past 21 years (some idiot took apart the correct 5-speed ecu for the car and swapped in the guts for a smaller, automatic, engine's ecu, which explains a ton of the problems I've been having, and why I had so much trouble tracking it down). If after getting it back to OEM shape I an unhappy with it, I will probably delve into an MR2. I want to experience different kinds of vehicles and expand my knowledge. I will definitely never forget my 6gc, nor the wonderful community! -Nate |

How much for the header and koyo radiator?? I can't even remember what I paid for the rad, I think 140 plus shipping seems fair. 40 for the header with heat wrapping plus shipping, 120 plus shipping and I'll leave both 02 sensors in it. It is a royal PITA to get the 02 sensors out of your oem iron block. -Nate |

Took pictures of everything today. Will post them here when I get home. Found a koyo radiator for a 5 speed that I forgot I had. Also found a 5 speed ecu. I'll take that ecu. Also I emailed you about the door cards. I was the one that emailed you yesterday about them. Response sent, editing post. -Nate |

7gc-6gc airbag conversion plug interest in this.... also bonzai wants Greddy GR2 catback exhaust Adapter was cheap, I would take like 5 bucks plus shipping. The Greddy GR2 has a bit of a line, working out details on that and I will work my way up the line. -Nate Driver side window motor and regulator if it works. Both work, shoot me an offer and we'll go from there. -Nate |

The car is a 95 GT Automatic w/ 194k. Hey all, some of you have seen me around, I wasn't an extremely active poster but I definitely learned a lot from this forum and my car wouldn't have been what it was without this community. 2 months ago I was in an accident and unfortunately the insurance coverage I THOUGHT I had was not actually correct. Apparently I never checked the box for collision. Anyway, some mods: SEE PAGE 2 FOR PICTURES AND PENDING SALES KYB struts Tien springs, .9 inch drop in front 1.5 in rear 7gc gts wheels with brand new effing tires.. JDM tail lights Vincent's radiator cooling panel (has a few dings from the accident) Vincent's e-brake cover Vincent's seat covers (fronts brand new never installed, rears have been sat in) Vincent's dragon door card emblems (once again never even installed) Vincent's fiberglass riser blocks --- Sold E-bay header w/ header wrap Greddy GR2 catback exhaust - Pending Sale 7gc steering wheel (airbag deployed) 7gc-6gc airbag conversion plug 7gc cruise stalk converted to work w/ 6gc system 6gc steering wheel 6gc usdm tails I'm sure there are some other things I will remember, but that is it for now. Shoot me a line, gmail probably best ndawgtkd@gmail.com. I will try to post a picture for each item when requested. Please keep in mind that the vehicle is at my parents house, I do not always have access to it. ![]() |

Currently I am rocking a z24 cavalier. Wow, did you spoiler fall off of the riser blocks? Must have been a serious hit. Yea, luckily I had the 7g steering wheel and airbag installed, felt like a pillow hit me lol. Thank goodness I had just secured the airbag back down two days before, since I had the thing just sitting in the steering wheel for around 4 months previously. Wow, did you spoiler fall off of the riser blocks? Must have been a serious hit. Yup, the spoiler flew off on me. It was only held on with those plastic inserts that you screw into for body panels. Never needed anything else, until now, lol |

Yea, no serious injuries. Although as soon as I pointed out to the state trooper that the other vehicle's occupants were lying about who was driving they suddenly all had neck injuries and had to be taken away in the ambulance. Thankfully the trooper knew that they were full of it. |

Well sir, you are in luck. If you look at my post in the Today I... thread you will see that I am out of the game. The car has a SP2 catback on it that I would be willing to part with to the right buyer. -Nate |

Got stranded at a convenience store at 1:30AM, my starter finally kicked the bucket. I've been tapping it to get her started for a couple of months now. This time, the tapping didn't work, I actually ended up beating a hole through the starter. Got up around 9:00AM, got a ride to the auto parts store, $129+core. 20 minutes later she cranks right up |

Found and fixed an exhaust leak. Apparently one of the bolts at the cat fell off on the highway. Sounded like a damn rice rocket. Purrs like she should now. Bought a new amp (hfi1500d) to replace my crappy sony xplod amp, went through and re-tuned my whole audio system. Much clearer now. Pics to follow. -Nate |

Car died on me, was driving over some train tracks (on my way for a tire rotation, I would do it myself but the shop I use wasn't going to charge me anything so I figured what the hell). Car jumped to 2000 rpm, sputtered a bit, I sat there wondering what the heck could be wrong, so I gave it a bit of gas, it stuck at 2000 rpm and died. I coasted into the nearest parking lot, checked my fluids and everything seemed fine. Tried to crank it up, everything was cranking OK, but the car wouldn't start. Pulled a sparkplug wire to see if there was anything alarming waiting, but that was clear. Went to put the wire back on and noticed that it would not snap back onto the plug. I looked into the plug wire and noticed the screw-on tip of the plug was stuck in the wire. Had the GF walk the kids back to the house while I sat there and tried to get the end of the plug out. Finally got it out, but damaged the threads (At the time I had no idea that this was the screw on type). Go up to the nearest auto-zone with my plugs and bought replacements, go back to the car and install them. Crank up the car and get the same thing, will turn over and not fire. There was an auto repair place right across the street from where I broke down, so I get some of the guys to help me push the car over into the shop. I got a call shortly after telling me that my distributor was shot, this is the OEM distributor which has lasted for 174k, so I told them to go ahead and replace it (only because the diagnostic fee I would have been charged was the same as the installation fee, so I was only looking at parts at this point). I am now waiting to hear word that I can go pick my car back up. They will be setting the timing back to where I had it and hopefully I will be back on the road soon. Now I will need to replace my plug wires within a month in order to have my warranty honored for the distributor. Today has not been a nice day so far. |
