cheers for input my trouble is i get 2 4 grand revs n i lose all power n seems to be over fuelin any ideas cheers

hi there i have a st202 ss2 n ive replaced fuel pump and fuel pressure reg but when fittin the regulator i notice that vac pipe come strait from inlet mannie so looked in mannaul and it say should come from fuel pressure vsv but cant find it on car is the book correct

k sound i got it to run but it just dies as soon as try to drive it ive allways had trouble with it like when i go up hills it just looses all power n was told i was fuel pump givin out losein pressure so ive changed that n now it doin this lol but thinkin couid it be fse boost valve stuffed thinkin changin that back to standard

but if u say is rite u thinkin haed may have gone will have to presssure test it

i fitted new fuel pump n now it wont start it trys but just gettin loads white smoke which if remeber rite is over fuelin or is it ? also does the fuel system need bleedin after fittin new fuel pump because of drainin the system so was thinkin maybe air in there and could it be my fuel pressure regulator as not workin as it a fse boost valve n dont think much to um anyways do u think better off installin the standard pressure reg

just cus it came wit it already on i know it not worth runnin one unless u turbo,d lol any how my fuel makes funny noises some times n other time cant hear anythink n car runs better then noiise come bk n it runs poor plus if u try goin up hill all power gone as fuel pump cant keep pressuse so bin informed lol anyways got my new fuel pump today thanks to powertex proformance parts which was £44.75 far better then the £123 was quoted by local motor factors so goona do that tomorrow then go from ther but u think id be better off goin bk to standard FSE ?

when i tried to check the fuel pressure with gauge fitted in the fse boost vavle but doesnt read any pressure at all any ideas on how to check usein the fse please was ruunin loads better but can still feel the surgin so thinkin change fuel filter and go from there any ideas cheers

after all that it turns out to be a poorly made dizzy cap just got set fuel up now as bin messin with it n its runnin little rich as when come off gas padel it go faster before it slows ie brunin excess fuel off happy man now it pulls likw train again YIPPPEEEEEEEEEE

mine was missin like mad wit denso iridium pulgs so chanded um to bosch now no more missin just surgin at 4000rpm lol think that fuelin problem tho

just waitin 4 pressure gauge 2 arrive then will no wot fuel pressuse is will post out come

no cel s at all but gonna get it scaned to check and unsure ov fuel pressure but will have to check as for fuel pump i think its just f**ked so gonna fined n install thats

NOT HAD CAR LONG BUT IT STARTED MISSIN N POPPIN AND RUNNIN VERY ROUGH SO CHECKED LEADS PLUGS N PLUGS WERE OILY N N NUMBER 3 WAS WORSE SO CHAngrd THEM N IT RUN FINE TICK OVER N WILL REV STANDIN STILL FINE DRIVIN IT IS DIFF PULL OFF IS OK ISH BUT SOMETIMES WANT TO STALL THEN GOES WELL UNTILL TRY GIVE IT SOME GAS IT HOLDS BACK N SURGES FORWOARD LIKE JERKIN N WONT GO OVER 4 000 RP

ALSO HAS FSE BOOST VALVE WHICH THINK MAKIN FUEL PUMP WINE

ok sort v know were fuel goes lol but what bout the vac pipe thats on the fse boost valve does that just go back to fpr

the car is a st202 import 3sge and it was running rough on idel but now run fine hot or cold but when ya reach 4000 rpm it starts to hold back and sruges like it wants to go but cant all hose vacums seem to be good also the fuel pumps wines alot which dont thinks right so was lookin round under bonnet and sin the dreaded fse boost valve how do u remove any pics or help
