hi, i was hoping to hear from you presure2, one of the few that i recall being especially helpful and still on here. and I created an account on mr2oc just for that reason but every field has "0 entries" when i look at the forums?????? is there somewhere else I could get one cheap? Also any thoughts on my GM map sensor idea????? similar how on SAFC you can run other vehicles sensors, just in this case it happens to be a domestic map. |

sorry, don't think I was clear, I have SAFC-II and a e-manage ultimate - but they are not both installed in car. I know emanage is better overall- but for the small setup I have would the SAFC-II be enough, I know thought there were quite a few people on here running close to my setup on here with just the SAFC-but with the 2 bar. So, if I HAVE TO buy 3s map sensor and will run with safc, I would prefer that. Then just use E-manage on another higher hp project that i am still gathering parts for. But if I can run E-manage and use get away with either the GM map or the greddy one I would rather do that since I have all these parts to my advantage and will not need to shell out for the new MAP |

hey guys been a while since i have been here but plan on getting my celi going again soon after being parked since summer 05. okay well I am now running a gt2252 turbo,295cc injectors, aeromotive 1:1 fpr, with a walbro 255 intank and all -6an lines. I have both a SAFC-II and an emanage ultimate with map sensor(3bar). So will this map sensor function as my map sensor for the vehicle? if not is there a cheaper alternative to the 3sgte 2bar that is either hard to find used or pricey new? And lastly something I had contemplated before - could I use a GM 2bar map sensor off of a typhoon(new about $60)? it is the required 2bar and is a 3-wire 5v system? could i get a used GM harness and plug it into the toyota harness': brown:ECU negative yellow:ECU +5v lt.green/red: ref signal ok think i just need to get the vacuum lines, MAP sensor, and my ignition sparking again it should be running again, and i just bought a 94 carolla with 7afe for parts that had thrown the timing belt so i should have oe backup parts, also have a wide selection of GM parts on hand as well, but one step at a time right? so what do you guys think? |

well I have an extra option imput harness which has the 3 wires and from what I have seen of the wideband option harness it has the 2 outer wires, white(sig.) and grey(GND), but isn't the analog output just a narrowband output???? Would I be better off just running wideband analog out to the ECU and then just getting the signal from ecu harness? Also would it be better to convert from the batch injectors to sequential, and to do so wouldn't I just have to run the other 2 wires to my injectors? Also since the PRofec E-01 comes with the MAP sensor, would I leave it on the PRofec box or insead plug it into the E-manage Ultimate? Also as Far as the RPM imput to the E-manage, couls I just use the RPM output that comes out of my MSD box? or would I have to use OEM RPM output and if I do this would I have to use some sort of signal adapter like I did when installing my MSD ignition? Also If running an intake temp sensor, as well as a water temps sensor(i need both for autotune don't I???) can I still run a knock sensor? I know this is alot oh questions and thanks for your help. |

yes my wideband has the narrow band output, So I will do that, but as far as E-manage can I use wideband output as IMPUT#2? |

this may be a simple or NOOB question but I cannot find an answer to. Can I run an open screamer pipe with a internally wastegated turbo that has divorced outlet and has separate openings for both pipes? one reason I plan on doing this is because my DP is already a single pipe that goes into exhaust and welds perfectly into my new turbo flange and rather than trying to plumb the 1.5" waste gate tube back into it it would be easier just to jun down and back, plus alot of people I know run them and they sound pretty good-but they have external wastegate???? |

JUst bought one for my boosted 7A, just wanting to know if many others have ran this on there turbo'd 7A's? And also what should I know? I am removing a SAFC-II and turbosmart dual stage boost control and going to install this in it's place. I have E-manage Ultimate, as well as Profec E-01, with 3bar MAP and boost control, have ignition and injection harnesses, As well as wireless remote switching button for unit as well. SO some other questions I have: 1.Do I have to use an OEM map sensor or can I somehow configure the ECM to read the 3bar that comes with the greddy? 2.I also have a Innovate LM-1 Wideband with RPM converter, Can I use this for either INPUT#2 on E-manage or use its output instead of OEM narrowband to ECM? I am still researching this and finishing putting my car back together so I will be installing this slowly and just wanting to know what other options I had for this setup. |

I had some JL 8w3's in my door and they added a real nice bass and great frontstage as well, only thing I didn't like about them was my doors would always rattle(but I have shaved door handles with solenoids in door and window control module in my door too-so that might have been it). rattle went away if I upped the x-over point, but then whats the point of having subs in your doors right????? So I ditched them. I ended up doing some MB QUART Q-line 8" components bi-amped off of an old school PPI competition amp, crossed over at 75hz. running 2- 15" Alpine R's tuned to 30hz on a ton of power is one of the best sounding setups I have. I am about to take out 15's but no matter what I think I am keeping the 8" MB's bi-amped . Also I think Hertz has an 8" component and for the price on most of the hertz line they are amazing. I have heard baseline Hertz 6.5 components and they blow away Alpine's and even the JL ZR stuff!!!! so even if you do a 6.5 hertz sounds really full and has great bottom end, if you want something really BRIGHT with alot of tweeter go MB reference of Q-line |

don't think 7A alt will fit because it goes bolted to the head where your distributor is. |

I have mine and I love it, only thing was that it does not come with the KOYO radiator cap which bask when I bought mine was like $30 but that was 5-6 years ago. As far as radiator, after 5-6 years it is great just need the occasional polishing to keep its shine if not it turns all whitish. |

how much difference did the nitrous make when you ran the 50 shot?? like will i loose a second with it you think? well if you mean on 1/4 mile, a 50-shot I think will only get you a max of ~.5 sec, someone correct me if I am wrong? Also is your ZEX kit the one that has a vacuum line that connects to your FPR? if so that one is way better because it ups the pressure and richens it up a little. |

my car has 76,xxx miles on it, but they were really hard miles and I didn't take the precautions mentioned above, at very least I would do the colder plugs and retard the timing some. |

well just as more of an update as far as turbo flange goes. I found an Ebay seller who had the gasket as well as correct oil drain for this turbo and he said he also has a CNC place that cuts him the flange so I should have one in about ~1.5-2 weeks. So if anyone else needs this garrett GT22 flange the Ebay seller in called: AUTHENTIC-BOOSTING So onto my other question, I need to get a fitting to go from my fuel pump pickup to -6an fuel line. this is a little different but just to illustrate the fitting I am trying to convert to -6AN ![]() circles in red it the OEM outlet, I also bought a new OEM line and have that fitting as well. I think it is either a tubing line like brake line or could be inverted flare, ANYONE KNOW WHICH ONE????? Also size???? Or can I just cut off the end and just slip the -6an fuel line over it with a couple hose clamps or would that leak? |
