Are those the correct pictures for the side skirts? They look more like SC300/400 side skirts than Celica side skirts.

Mine is doing that wabbly thing and I would like to replace it. I don't want to get one of those universal things that I have to attach to the windshield. If anyone has a OEM one that I could swap out, that would be great. I would also be open to replacing it with one of the newer ones with bells and whistles if someone could direct me to a type that would install the same way the original sits. As always thanks to all for any assistance.

I'm sure I have at least one of these in my garage. You can come pick it up or meet halfway for free! I guess I could mail it to you instead, but it seems kind of silly since we both live in SoCal lol.

It sounds like you missed the two nuts under where the low beam was located and one bolt by the door side that you access through the wheel well area. You have to look under the fender liner (its at about the halfway point between the very top bolt and the very bottom bolts). All of these are holding down brackets that are welded onto the fender. I apologize for my poor description, please let me know if you need clarification. I can get you a picture of the two nuts under the low beam, but the last bolt I mentioned is only found on coupes and hatchbacks.

Hmm, perhaps they did it differently in 94, but on my 96 and on 95 Celicas I've worked on, only the large port on the top of the charcoal canister leads to a hardline on the firewall, and I believe it is the same on the ST205. The small port leads to a Temperature Vacuum Valve located on the water neck, and from there, goes to a vacuum port on the throttle body labeled "P".

The "Foam filter looking thing" is a door. Change your settings from recirculating to outside air and see what happens wink.gif.

If I remember reading correctly, ILoveMySilly97 had an issue with the ears on his knuckle bend when the machine shop pressed in his new wheel hubs.

Oh thank you! I was completely stumped. Not many people know these subtle differences. So only receptacles from 94 and 95 will work? What about cross compatibility? Or are things like seatbelts unique to the model? Seatbelt components for Celicas are fairly scarce here in the states. (So is everything else. lol)

GT and ST belts are the same for the corresponding years as long as they are the same body style. Ie Convertible belts are specific to convertible models. I have a complete set of 95 front belts from a hatchback with buckles if you need them. I'm in California.

The changeover was in 96. If you pulled seats out of an anniversary edition, then it would not have been a 95. You can tell the year of the seats by the way the handle of the slide release is that moves the seat forward or back. On the 94-95 seats, the release lever is only on one side of the seat. On the 96+ seats, this lever goes all the way across. I posted some pictures before somewhere showing the differences, but I'm not sure where lol.

The top cover is very bulky and does take up practically the whole trunk. I don't think there is anyway to fold it to save much space.

You could either return those wires for the 7mm ones, or purchase the 93+ distributor cap to use with the 5mm wires you just bought.

RHD cars the RH mirror would be convex. LHD the LH would be convex. The Passenger side glass is flat mirrow

Im assuming its RHD frown.gif

I think it may be the other way around. The passenger glass is usually convex, which is why they are engraved with "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear". Also, the housing itself is usually more angled on the passenger side mirror.

Looking to replace the 3s compressor and was wondering if the one from the 5sfe is the same.

There was a minor difference between the years, but they are interchangeable without any problems. They all have the same 4 pin plug, but some have 3 wires, and others have 4 wires.

No release mechanism, it's just a simple spade connector smile.gif. It pulls straight out, but you may have to wiggle it around a bit, as it's in there pretty snug.

Yeah, to hook up 4 speakers, this would be the way. It could differ depending on how you plugged your RCA wires into the input on the amp, but I usually use channels 1&2 for the front speakers and channels 3&4 for the rears. You shouldn't have to bridge any connections if you are trying to power 4 speakers and your sub.

Yep, there were some factory radios with built in type amplifier, and some with an external amplifier. They can be bypassed and removed when installing an aftermarket radio.

My Celica is federal spec and I have never noticed a difference between the fed spec ECU and Cali spec ECU in terms of power/torque.
If you ever decide you want to find exact numbers and dyno your car with both ECUs and record your findings, then you are more than welcome to borrow mine and find out smile.gif.

Hello.

Each channel is designated to one speaker. So,

Front left speaker: (+) to channel 1 (+), and (-) to channel 1 (-).
Front right speaker: (+) to channel 2 (+), and (-) to channel 2 (-).
Rear left speaker: (+) to channel 3 (+), and (-) to channel 3 (-).
Rear right speaker: (+) to channel 4 (+), and (-) to channel 4 (-).
