It's not illegal as long as you still have your front sidemarkers.

Car for $6000

As for mods, I'm guessing around $3000 so far.

Check your fuses. There may be a crossed wire somewhere also.

Sam's Club should do it for about $9 a piece.

That's what I was thinking now, is to buy the parts myself and pay for labor. I found a local shop that specializes in Toyota's, so I think I am going to take it there on Monday.

Now, I have a friend that can get me discounted prices on aftermarket parts. He said that a Clutchmaster Stage 3 full kit can run him at around $350, instead of the $530 that Clutchmaster wants. Should I get the stage 3, or just a stage 1? What about a new flywheel? Should I get one of those while I am at it? Thanks again everyone.

Well, here's the story. My car is in dire need of a clutch, to the point where I can't even drive it. I called a few places around where I live, and they all said that it would be around $800. Dealer said $1300. Is this right? Would it be cheaper if I bought a clutch online and had them install it? I don't want to do it myself because I don't know anything about them. It just seems very expensive to me just for a clutch. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks!

It's really hard to tell if he's going to have one or not. When I took off my badges on my 97 with 150K at the time with it always being an outside car, I didn't have any fading at all.

Just like any other sticker...a hot air dryer or a heat gun will do the trick with some dental floss or fishing line. How old is your car? You may have a fade line where the pinstripe was before. Also, sometimes you can peel it off if it's hot enough.

This isn't a half bad idea...

We all know that with a targa top you will lose handling of the car because of the support that the roof plays, but with a chopped top, done right, it would still have the support that you need.

Can anyone photochop this idea? I think it's very original, and would look very cool.

^what he said.

Also, after you get if fixed, just buy some regular lugs because people don't steal wheels anymore really, they just steal the whole car.

I always go to the gym on Saturday nights because:

1. I'm married.
2. Nobody else is there.

Hmmm...

I have 4" of clearance with my 404a lip also. I have a crack in mine from when I wasn't paying attention and pulled up too far into a parking space. Other than that, I have no problems with it. I get up driveways and such ok.

What other kinds of terrain to you go onto that would cause that much cracking? I guess I just don't understand because gravel shouldn't be too big of an issue if you go slow enough.
