Yes, of course your right charlie, sorry i meant that the silver top is over rated, and i had no idea that the 6spd would work in the celica, i thought that there was fitment errors. What would be your choice of 4agze as far as availability of performace and replacement parts, the AE92(85-90), AE92(90-91) or the AE101. I want an engine that i can get parts for easily! |

i know there are spots, but ive seen pics of cars that there is just no physical way you can get a jack under there without removing the sideskirt first. |

This is a question for the ones that have their car lowered with ground effects. HOW THE HELL DO YOU SQUEEZE A JACK UNDER THE CAR TO LIFT IT! Just curious, i have always wondered. |

How hard is it to change the 4agze to turbo power, i believe i heard it is expensive, and a pain the ass. Is this true! |

Yeah but a clip for a 4agze is around 1500 bucks and you get the benefit of torque, plus the black top and silver tops are overated on their horse power, not to mention the fact the six speed wont work with the celica! |

With the 4agze and the transmission out of a front clip corolla, will the trans bolt right in place of the old 7afe one , or does it need custom axles? Also will the wiring harness be somewhat similar to the celicas? If i buy a front 4agze clip out of a front wheel drive corolla, what things will i need that wouldnt come with the clip? |

Just get a zex kit, they are the easiest to use and install. All you have to do is drive the car, and the nitrous takes care of itself. |

I think nitrous is one of the cheapest horse power mods you can get. It may only last a couple of seconds, but thats all it takes to kick someones ass!!! Plus the fact that it is only used for a couple of seconds means that it won't kill the motor as fast. Nitrous is a good mod, especially if you dont have the money for a turbo setup, and it looks really f*cking cool when you purge. I say go for it. |

depends on how big of a shot your gonna use, as to what modifications you need to do, also only use it at wide open throttle and above 3000 rpms. let me know exactly what your aiming for and i'll let you know how to do it. |

I think you should stay with the setup, since you've already put a lot of time and money into it, why not just put a little more into it and have the motor rebuilt with 4agze pistons, have the rods shotpeened, and get some new rings (i think hks makes some for our cars made for boost) i think you get the idea. That would be worth more than 14 psi. Also do you have anymore pics of your setup, i'm really curious to see how you did it. |

What about something like this, i think having more oil and making sure its filtered better will help alot. Since the turbo lives off oil, come to think of it i guess the entire motor does to ![]() |

Just curious as to how long you guys think a 7AFE motor with a 126,000 nicely driven miles would hold up with about 6psi intercooled. The car runs absolutely perfect and has had no problems. Im starting to think i want to put the turbo on first, and then after the motor goes, i'll rebuild with internals. What do you guys think! Oh yeah its an auto also. |

I'm lookin for some pictures of white celicas with gunmetal rims, and a carbon fiber hood. The pic doesnt have to have both of these things together. I'm curious to see what the gunmetal rims look like a white celica, and also what a carbon fiber hood looks like on a white celica. If anybody could find some with the Motegi MR7 Gunmetal 18 inch rims would be perfect because those are the ones i'm interested in. Also any input on what you guys thing about these things would be helpful too. |
