Yes the valves I know its a cheap price but it has to go. the car is mechanicly sound it just smokes a little after hard runs..the smokes stops after a while tho....but the clucth, Pistons and rings were all installed in the beggining of march..So unless the rings didnt seat right..Which i doubt.....Then i suspect the valves...I have all recepts dating back to 2001 when the engine was bought.

The timinig gear is chipped (my fault..was trying to remove it) and the key that holds the pully on is broken...like loose kinda... Like i said i might replace the crank..or just see if this guy can weld the key back into place...but im affraid of the welding fix because i dont know how much it would throw off the timing...anyway...
Both cars have served me well and now must go.. frown.gif

Ok im lazy ..so heres the cut and paste from Celicatec:Post
Sup? Im selling my 6th Gen Celica 2nd Gen 3sgte, JE pistons,HKS adj Cam gears,HKS turbo timer,TRD boost gauge(15lbs),Aeromotive FPR, Custom Fuel rail(bored out),Custom SS braided Fuel lines, 50 trim compressor wheel with 12 deg clip 3inch dp and exhaust,Greddy profec B With Remote steering wheel switch,Enkei RSF-2s,Front mount intercooler,MegaSquirt EMS with ford EDIS, ARP Head Bolts, ACT Street Strip clutch with Heavy Duty Pressure plate.Mr2 Tranny (non lsd)

...and now the stuff you dont care about: Power Sun Roof,Power Locks,Power Windows, pioneer DEH-P4600MP, Rockford fosgate 5 1/4 componet set up front(i like theeses better thn the 6 1/2),stock 6 1/2 in rear.

...and now for the stuff it dosent have: power steering, AC, Heat, {however they all can be added I do have the condenser and I think i have a Compressor or 2 lying around somewhere.....

...and now for some extra shyt you get: 4 stock BBS 6 spoke celica rims, stock 94 celica Transmission, sock 7afe intake manifold complete with fuel rail and injectors, som other miscelanneous stock celica stuff from the swap...

...and now for the real treat (if you wanna call it that) , a 1993 toyota corolla 4 door sedan. thats right 2 cars!!!!!(infomercial style) Its a 1993 toyota corolla, Base model 4afe AC, Automatic, Kenwood CD player, Jensen 6x9's in the rear dash (very sloppy install i might add). 2 fosgate speakers up front...but they are blown.... O and the most iomportant thing of all it needs a new crank..the key that holds the pully kinda broke off after the pully lost the bolt.... owned.gif .But I might fix it that way both cars will run for you. And then you can have both a daily driver and a playtoy.

The reason im getting rid of the cars is cause I have a house now and i cant really spend the money on it to make it the way i want...So im gonna buy a truck and maybe next year get a yammaha R6 or R1 depending on how much fatter my fat ass gets!!!!

... Another Note!!! the celica does smoke a little, the pistons and rings are new so i dont suspect them, however the first time i rebuit the engine..i got the valves mixed up so it might be that.

...And now for the price $6000 thats for both cars $6500 if i get the corolla fixed...I think thats fair...So dont try to haggle me Dammit!!! lol just kidding..but im serious cwm13.gif

O yeah before u give me the "worthless without pics smiley" Ill be posting pics Friday.....

mad.gif Bad news mad.gif

So after i paid the guy I asked him for the dyno sheet..well there was a problem, the Dyno the use is in Lutz (about an hour away from tampa) and they left it up there. So we tried to get the guy from the other shop to email it and it seemed like it was a big hassle... so i was like ill come back up here on my day off and get the sheet..so unfortunatly i have to wait till saturday to show yall on paper. but the final # were 256fwhp and 241ftlb torq. I know this might get the user posted image but i swear to yall its the truth.

Also.
They forgot to hook up my Spedo they needed the wiring diagrams (..i also will bring this up with me on saturday.

Wow!

Do you have an SAFC? I hear nice gains with it properly tuned. I gotta get myself to the dyno, my 3s isnt where i'd like it to be.

If he's running a Megasquirt, he won't need an AFC as the MS provides complete fuel adjustability. It's a standalone fuel computer that's tunable via laptop/PC/etc. A very cost-effective option if you're considering a standalone.

dirty: Did you have the shop install a MegaSpark or megasquirtnEDIS to control ignition, or are you using a stock system? I'd love to see some pics of your setup if you have any.

Well im getting rid of the Dizzy and he's fitting a Ford EDIS system in there. it will be driven by a custom Cam angle sensor that sits in the same place the distributor sat. (looks pretty trick). They made custom wires by cutting the 3s ones at the ends and putting the Ford boots on there... Ill take pics prolly tommrow night.

So I got a call from Adam @ XAT Racing here in Tampa, they are a performance shop here in tampa that specialize in imports. They installed a EMS for me that they were experimenting with called the Mega Squirt. I had heard good things about it from my guy at Stadium Toyota who put one on a MR2. So to make a long story short when i took it to them, they asked me what kinda of numbers i wanted. I was like i want in the area of 230-240 Hp to the ground he was like "we'll see what we can do, we'll try".

So i get a call back today and he was like
"Your car is ready to be picked up"
I was like "cool, but i cant come get it till monday"
He was like "cool..hey we didn't get that 240hp you wanted."
I was like what did it make?"
He was like "256!"
I was like "0 shyt!, did alot better than i expected (i cant remeber the torqe # he said but ill post a scan of the sheet)

tongue.gif cant wait till monday tongue.gif

chillin right now bought a house and I rebuilt and re-installed the engine back in January...Monday im going up to the shop to pick it up from a shop im having them put a stand alone in it and dyno tune it heres the EMS --->Megasquirt&spark<----. they took it to the dyno yesterday i dont know what it put down they were still there when i called and hadnt ran it yet. right now im shooting for 240-250 to the ground for now and the ultimate hp goal is 290-300 whp.

cool r u running a hybrid?did you need forged pistons and larger injectors for 300whp?

I dont have 300whp now, but thats what im aiming for. From the researh ive gathered the stock internals should be able to hold up if they dont, I dont mind yanking the engine out again and installing the forgies. but yes to acheive 300 to the ground, u will need to go with the supra injectors. And a bigger turbo will be needed as well. this is the one im thinking about getting next summer Street brawler and it should put me right where i want to be

There is no 3SGTE FWD Yota.....  3SGTE FWD tranny would be great but there isn't any....

The 3SGTE had the AWD tranny and MR2 tranny.

MR2 tranny is rear wheel drive hence the M for middle and R for rear of the MR.

but you can use the MR2 tranny in a celica as a FWD

sure can this is what i Did...how ever i did have a drive shaft company make me some custom drive shafts...
And I had to source a 91 V6 camry actuator for the gear box. I hear its easier to go witht the V6 solara trans, probally an easier find.

You sure about that??A highbred 5s might have more power psi for psi, but stock I doubt it..

Besides a 3sgte can handle more psi without modification. 3sgte is more practical.

I think that would be the best move....taking it to the dealer....Ive never sweared so much in my life when i was trying to change mine...then i realized...I live in FL....Fuk it...long as the A/C work. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

What is the Normal Break in period for a fully rebuilt 3sgte. my guy at toyota says to take it easy for 5000 miles. Which sucks because I only drive the celi on the weekends.

maybe you checked this already but i want to throw this in the mix cause it was happening to me...and it took me like 2 weeks to find....Make sure you check your Circut Opening Relay. Making sure that it has the proper voltage to the terminals..what happned with me is that I had no voltage to one of the leads and it would crank but die instantly...the circut wasnt closing. anyway just a suggestion..AND MAKE SURE THE VACCUM IS GOOD TO GO...theese engines are very sensitve to vaccum leaks.

I bout the Left and right mount for about 150..bran new....and then i poured the urethane mix into the front mount. Then I had a coustom solid rear mount made because we had problems mounting the stock rear mounts to the crossmember. so all in all i paid like 250 for Mounts.
