Allright sense I am waiting for paint to dry no joke.. I will write out the events of the night....

On the drive to Toyota Performance basicly lost all power and sputtering really bad. Zai (owner and head monkey, as his is prefered to be called) pulls out the all mighty all code reader for any Mofo car out there. So code 12... but the twist code 12 on ODB1 isnt knock sensor, its the crank sensor thats strangely enough located in the Distrobuter... Rip it apart.. metal shaving everywhere, clean it out, fire it up, running without sputtering, but still shooting 12. So I am now stuck with gettin a new distrobuter, and just to figure my luck the one off my 96 block wont fit.

So now the car is running decent, but parked in favor of the TT as the daily for now.

Allright I reset the ECU many of times kept coming back, Its not knocking at all, but is running really poorly a 800rpm and sputters all the way threw the RPM range.

Where do I check the wiring?

Also If I have to replace my Knock Sensor, will the one of my 96 block work?

So driving down the highway basicly lost all power, and gimped her home, did DG's Code and got this.

F P F F P P P F P F F

Check it about 10 times so I am pretty sure its right.

However no one around here has the codes and or a OBD1 Code reader for my car....

Can anyone find out this code?

I found this out from toyota perfomance first hand.

Impact Gun
14mm Deep Socket
Wire Brush Wheel For drill / Air grinder
PB blaster

Grind the crap outta the threads so there all shiney and new looking
Soak it all in PB Blaster
Hit it with the gun till it comes shooting off, Did it 9 times between my cars worked perfect everytime.

I had a 96 ST anni edition fully loaded, 5spd, 100k, that I bought for just a little over 2k... I think that it depends on the region really.

I have had sorta the same problems...

The Ground-trigger switch is currently shot on my passenger side, and I would check the hatch one. Just have to take out 1 panel to check it, the Door ones are a little more pain in the arse.

I would just use the stock mounting location to put 2 6.5" reference Infinitys to complete the setup, I had a complete set of componets in mine and it sounded really nice.

I think if you seperated the Top ones, into componets and then used them in a Premium Door Panels that would be a nice setup.

Jgreening > Owned

Anyways Offset and Rim width.

7.5" is just about perfect for a 225/235.

I have 225/35 and 255/35 on a 8" wide rim
