Goto any parts store that sells all the APC parts and stuff like that and buy the blue cylicone bulb covers, I have them, and if you want blue dome lights I believe those are the best bet.

1. My tint on the rear window is warped as hell from the rear defogger, should I get it replaced? They said that stripping the tint might damage the defogger wires

damn that sux. will tint always get messed up from the rear defogger or is it that you just got your tint lately n used the defogger too soon?

i paid 85 for my tint and i had got limo 5% on the back three and 20% on the front and i love it but i kind of wish i would have gotten 5% all around.

yeah i like it when everything all around is equal %. in my opinion it looks nicer. but is it legal in texas to have 5% up front cause that would be awesome?

yeh i rekon it would be really hard to see @ night thou

I had 5% on the back 3 and 35% on the front 2. Your allowed any % on the back 3 but nothing on the front 2 in Illinois. I passed local cops all the time and never had a problem. I did get 1 warning from a state boy, but he had nothing better to do at the time. It was on the highway. He wanted to get me for speeding but I saw him before he saw me and I slowed down before the radar got me. But, he pulled me over anyways and gave a warning for the tint. I think it cost me like $150 for what tint I had done. smile.gif

if a cop does pull you over for your tint being illegal does he just give you some ticket that says go fix it or makes you pay a fine?

I paid $115 for my 30% tint job, I offered them more for a 25% but they wouldn't do it.

-Brandon

lol the guys said straight up that 20% was illegal but they recommended it for some reason. go figure.

Its 160 here too. I don'tthink the cops will pull you over for 20%, but if they pull you over for sometyhing else you might get a ticket then for the tint

yeah thats what i was thinking

hey i just got 20% tint all around (except windshield).  it cost me 125 + 10 for lifetime warranty.  was this a good price?  also, i think in maryland the % is supposed to be 35..you think the po pos will pull be over just for this?

they probably will pull you over for it just because they are like that with tint (around here anyways). you did get a really good price.

sweeet..why how much would it normally cost?

btw i got my stuff done @ House of Dubs in laurel, maryland for all you marylanders out there. jolly good shop. i got my subs installed there, my speakers n now my tints...they do all sorts of nice stuff. i recommend them.

"Tornado Air System" (As Seen on TV)? It's "designed to enhance fuel economy and increase power. Increases gas mileage up to 24%." I just saw it in a Pep Boys ad and was wondering if it does what it says. Does anyone have it or knows of it?

Yeah, I noticed some people already spoke of this a while ago but does anyone have any new insight? Thanks.

Possibly you deserve to have your HD to be eatin away by back oriface. Or possibly routed to many porn paying sites to up your telephone bill. How about I just constantly open your CD case over and over. Either way, This post does need to die and I have apologized and still nothing. If you think I deserve that, you probably deserve a fist in the ya know what. You rip and taunt on me for one mistake. One...if it was a common thing I can understand. But One, people are not allowed to make one mistake without being torn apart having apples thrown at them by the miserable little peons that inhabit this land of piss? Hmmm guess not, I'm done on this thread as I can see everyone is a perfectionist and will never see that, one mistake does not lable someone...or does it. It just shows how dense you people are and childish. Wait till you make a slip up and see if people forgive you for it. Don't be surprised if they treat you like crap.

Oh and about finding out more about someone, if your smart, which I highly doubt you are, you can find a person's SSN, Address, Previous Address, Phone, CC#, Car plates, registration date, where they work, what bills they have. So, if you want my name posted, fine, I can screw your life up too, not too hard now days if you konw comps well enough.

stop threatening people f4gg0t.

You keep being this unappreciative with advice and help, nobody is going to give you any. I didnt plan on starting more BS with you I posted to actually help you out with a quick and easy solution. I wasnt putting you or anybody else down. Frankly, I hate your guts. But i still posted to help out. But since you wanna throw that back like its pointless and unproductive, which makes no sense because the point was to get the beeping to stop and productivity has nothing to do with me. So the next time you want help, dont expect to get much cuz you dont appreciate the help you do get.

1) the point was to stop the beeping while the car is on ACCESSORIES
2) i felt you were putting me down by saying "I dont think you have the know how to be taking your car apart." which is an unneccessary comment. who are you to judge

Your sucha lil prick. You love starting with people. First off, I did my own swap. So your comment that i dont have the know how to be taking my car apart is complete garbage, and everybody knows that, including yourself. I'm right, you dont have the know-how. Secondly, my comment was the best comment you got. Its the best solution to your issue. You want your beeping to stop, unless you plan on ripping apart your dash and stuff, its not going to stop. Or, you can turn the key, and your car will be technically on.

Maybe you just dont understand what im saying. Take the key, and instead of having on ACC, go to ON. NOT START! I'm not saying start your car I'm saying turn on your dash and fan and stuff. Thats all that changes, so instead of having JUST your radio on, you'll have a few others things on, like a few lights on your dash. Thats it.

So you wanna come at me with non-sense, like I dont kno what im talknig about, then fine you spit ur garbage. But you above all people know thats all your spitting.

alright alright lets try again....hmmm...this is what i am saying..."i want to be able to open my door without it beeping while it is on ACCESSORIES ." do you understand yet? i dont want it on ON. OK? you get it yet? want me to say it one more time?

also how do I know u did your own swap? i mean really? (dont even comment on this dont get tooo much off topic)

thats great....your comment was pointless and unproductive....obviously u also dont "have the know how to be taking your car apart" if your only advice is to put the key to the ON position...how origional...you think you can say something productive some time? thanks

Besides draining the battery which its designed to do, whats it bad for? Ur electronics are on all the time, having the car off but stuff on doesnt do ne thing. Only thing it is going to do is drain teh battery, and if u have ur system blaring its going to go pretty quick, just dont have the system on.

its not necessary to have it on the ON position so why should/would i do that
