I've got a set of exactly what you're looking for that I'm selling, Asenna! (assuming you want them in white, then EXACTLY, if not, then near enough!) wink.gif
I advertised them on CCUK not long ago, they're proper Toyota parts (not fibreglass ones) and I had the GT-four text fillered over.
They're boxed and ready to go. pm me if you're interested smile.gif

Recaro's will definetley go in. You can pick up any of the SR ones from EK9's, DC2's, ATR's and Evo IV's.
It's just a case of getting subframes to fit. Bride do subframes that will work perfectly (I think its the 'type MO' ones that are needed)

Getting the topic back on track:

The first performance-modification I got for my Gen6 was a rear strut bar and I have to say there was a big difference in the way the car handled. I put my strut bar on before I lowered the car as I was pretty lucky to find one in a breakers yard shortly after purchasing my car.

Sorry to hi-jack this thread, though if anyone's interested I've got a set of the Euro splitters (unpainted) for sale. £45+p&p? (not sure what that comes to in $$)
pm me if you're interested.

[hijack mode off/]

and to contribute to the thread, my personal fave is the SSIII splitters, totally suits the lines of the facelift bumper and gives such a beatiful stance to the front of the car. smile.gif

The Beams (SSIII's) had a gun-metal/anthracite colour for the stereo+handbrake trim as well as the air-vent to the drivers side.....

looking to replace this with an SS-II, i'm really picky about what i want, so far there is no such thing as a 6gen with 3s-ge,manual,abs,sunroof ... my hunt continues

Are you searching specifically for a SSII with all those?
I've got a UK-spec 6Gen with all the above features.

I've got the D2 coilovers and I had the same initial reaction as you...that it's too hard, though the springs have softened out a bit since I installed the coilovers.

Give it a bit of time, Mangozac

Not sure how much help this one would be as it's mainly UK-based though it's definitley worth a look... www.civicsportsclub.net

In between ownership of my various celica's, I also had a uk-spec EK4 (1.6 Vti) and loved every minute of it.
They handle very well on a set of coilovers (better than my st202 does on coilovers), are fun to throw around, have a crazy short ratio gearbox (well at least on the uk EK4's) and have lots more aftermarket support than our celi's do......oh and v-tak, y0!! haha

get an extra key made. leave the key in the ignition, and manually lock your door with your other key from the outside.

and then have someone break your window and take your car? kindasad.gif

oh wow, thats awwsome, so you not only can adjust height but adjust how hard it is.... this is making me hard

lol, not quite sure i wanted to know that.

Differece between Tein and D2:
D2:
- seperate ride-height adjustment.
- seperate pre-load adjustment.
- seperate damping adjustment.

Tein:
- ride-height and damping adjusted together as one.
- seperate damping adjustment.

Many people might argue that Tein are better quality, though for us Celica-owners, the only Teins available to us is the SuperStreets which sucks as they're only partially threaded. I'm quite happy with the D2's, a lot of my friends have them on their civics and on an Evo and I can appreciate the differences from the Tein SuperStreets.
