You can do this, but the small hatchback spoiler looks really akward on coupes. IMO I think the one that are from electrodyne are better... it's loike the stadard OEM but it larger to accomadate of the coupe and convertable larger rear end.

well these are a super common spoiler.. www.streetbeatcustoms.com sells them for 280$. Spoiler4less.com has a similiar high rise spoiler called scopion for about 250$ however they have have a supra replica spoiler (if that's what your looking for) at 305$ WingsWest is kind of pricey!

Well my first car was a ghetto 92 Pontiac LeMans SE... my aunt boght it for me right after I got my license.. or course being young I drove the heck out of it and wrecked it about 4-5 times. After working for awhile I decided I was going to buy myself a car that I actually liked. I lived in a small town so there was only two dealerships... one was a ford and the other sold eveything else. Walking to work one day I happened to and I noticed this beautiful car sitting out in the lot... moonroof, black, tan leather interior and 5 MT... this beauty of a car was a Toyota Celica GT. I slowly wiped the droul from my mouth and continued walking thinking how wonderful it would be to have that car. However by the time I was able to purchase a car that beauty had been long sold. I had heard of the heralded quality of Saturns at the time... From there I purchased my current car a 95 Saturn SC2... I actually pretty much feel in love with it... never had any problems with until the alternator blew at 96k miles... however it's been 7 years since that day I bought this friend and I got rear ended... totalling it. Now I find myself in search of the love the got away..

Yes, it's also more just a production run vs availabilty/still owned models.

BTW: things like this might change... because last time I looked at the numbers we have like 5 years of oill... 3.58 pending no major consumer decrese 7.2 assuming us oils are tapped, fuel consumption is cut and a bearing a similar rate of oil discovery

I have noticed all the body kits are for hatchbacks... It says like modification is required to fit coupe... WTF does that mean/entail?

FYI: I have found a coupe that I can get cheap... however I am trying to get info and the like to make it tolerable to look at. Plus I kind of want a project car anyway!

I never notice the difference in front and side skirts... perhaps it is just me... but the seperated spoiler just totally kills the aero-dynamics for this cars.. I know this is vearing from the original question, but what about body kits for the coupe or ground effects?

I was looking at spoilers on the 94-95's and noticed that they are a lot different than those of 96+ models... Is there any way I could put od those nice swopping spoilers on a newer model? Where would I get one? I am not looking for a wing... The GT-4 is almost too high of a spoiler for me

damn.. I am gonna have to try that too... The cheapest listed is like a 94 GT with like 170k and that is for like 6k... people ask rediculous prices around here. Oh yah, the salvage was not tehcnically totalled... It is an automatic, with moonroonf white, 86k miles... he wants 2.2k... I mean man... if I could actually get the car I wanted.. I wouldn't mind doing some work on it. I kind of would still like to have not to have the grey interior... Then again, I can't exactly afford to be picky... Thanks for your advise guys!

An prior option I was looking at was a rebuild 95 Celica GT... The person baught all the parts to replace after rear end collinsion and there was no suspension damage... however the parts he bought where from I a blue celica, so I would have to repaint the the replacement pieces.. is this a total rip off or a good deal? Paint-jobs are the one thing that I am definatly shy about when it come to DYI... I am sure a body paint shop would want 1-2G large I am guessing...

Well, I was thinking I might try the ebay game... You know I have never shipped an auto before... I will call today and see how much it costs. However I was thinking originally like IAA (Insurance Auction), howeer those are a crap shoot. Generally Celicas are damn right expensive, I am not sure why anyone would let go of a decent one for under 7k. However looking for what Celicas go on ebay, it might be possible. Where else should I look?

Okay, I am pretty much a broke college student who desperatly would love to own a Celica... In a perfect world I like to have a 6th gen, white, MT with tan leather interior, moon roof and MiniDisc player. Right now I have only about $3500 to spend... I looked into financing but those banks are just ruthless. So I have been thinking about say buying an auctioned 6th gen celica, what do you think about this? I much rather have a HB/Liftback... I am wondering say could one in theory but a lift back rear end say on a rear ended coupe. I am not sure how much different the frame difference is, if any? I was also considering perhaps an MR2 or Paseo as alteratives... Admittly the paseo is a bit gutless compared to even the ST, but what concerns me is that since it is so light how will it handle in the snow? I kind of have an unhealthy addiction to snowboarding, soI am not sure what I would do if I couldn't get up to the mountains. However if my litle 95' Saturn SC2 could do it... Well here is one of the Paseo's I was looking at...

What do you think?

BTW both of these models had moonroofs... being a poor college student I am still debating on how much I am willing to spend vs performance... I may just cave and buy a paseo. I have also been thinking about buying a junked and rebuilding it...
