That's it!...I'm moving to Cyprus. The difference between the celicas there and the ones here is as big as the difference between the celicas here and everything else...if that makes sense to anyone.

Very nice car tufy. Let me know if you ever decide to sell. smile.gif

I've painted the interiors of several cars now. 2 of my own and several for my friends, but I've never charged for it. Now random people want me to paint their interiors for them. There is no way I'm doin all that work for free for ppl i dont really know. What do you guys think would be a decent price to charge. I was thinking about starting around $125 to sand and paint all the plastic trim pieces and clearcoat them. Is that too much?...too low? I have no idea.

Thanx for the input,

I recently went from my 94 celi st, to a POS 91 civic dx hatch (long story), to an 02 Mazda Protege dx. I really like the protege and it only has about 40k miles on it, but i miss having a celica. My sister now has my old celica and wont give it back, but my parents told me if I wanted they might take over payments on the Protege and let me buy whatever I wanted...I have to make the payments though. Should I get a bit older car that I can fix up or stick with the reliable fairly new car thats nice, but I cant do that much to it to make it look more like something I'd drive. I'm not really a sedan kind of guy. I mostly got the protege out of the necessity of getting myself the |-|3|_|_ out of the civic.

Thanx for the help.

As topic says, I'm selling 2 12's and an amp. The amp is like new 75watts x 4-channel. The 12's are in good shape and work fine, no signs of wear except the vinyl stick-on strip that goes around the outer edge of one of the subs came off partially, but I painted the edge black and it isn't noticeable and has no affect on the sub playing corrrectly.

I'm asking $375+shipping for the 2 subs and I'll sell the amp for $150+shipping.

PM me if you're interested.

Thanx,
Sub

Ok, well I found a GT hatch I want to buy and when I do I'll probably do curren headlights. I like the stock hatch tails so I may stick w/ them for a while. Thanx for all your input. smile.gif

Alrighty, I'm working on getting a new celi and once I do I'm hooking it up in a big way, so which conversion looks best:

Headlights- I'm either doing a Supra or a Curren conversion

Taillights- Possibly Mazda 3, but open to suggestions. (May just get afterburners)

So, that's what I'm planning on so far, let me know what you guys think and give some suggestions if you like.

Thanx.

Looking good man. I like the 4 pedal covers. I did the same in my old celi, but with carbon fiber covers. Nice rims too.

Ok, My Civic (91 DX Hatchback) is for sale. I love the car but, I need another Celica. The Civic is ready for car shows and is probably the 2nd best looking car I'll ever have (2nd only to the celi I'm about to begin working on once I get my hands on one.), but I hate it for some reason. rolleyes.gif I must have a celica. As the topic says I'm looking for a black 96-99 GT Hatchback. I'd prefer black interior and manual tranny too. If anybody has one for sale hit me up. If your interested in the Civic let me know, but I'd really rather sell it locally, so please PM me and don't put anything about it in this thread.

Thanx

bowdown.gif bowdown.gif Wow! I love what you've done w/ your car. You've officially upped your status to my favorite celica on the site. smile.gif Not that my opinion matters all that much, but I had to let you know. Hit me up if you ever want to sell your car.

Headunit- Sony
Subs-Kicker, JL, or Adire (Brahma)
Amps-Rockford or Concept
Tweeters-Memphis/Fultron
Mids-Sony or Boston Acoustics

I deal in car audio equipment a lot and have tried nearly every major brand out there and these are the best I've found. You won't find a better combination than this without going out of your way.

Looks great. Keep it wingless. I think there may be a little bit too much white on the door panels. I'd paint the speaker cover part black, but still looks great. 5th gen mirrors would be a good add-on for the future and maybe smoke the tails.

I'd give you 4k for it. PM me if you're interested. I'd Even pick it up. I'll just need some time to sell my civic, or maybe we could trade.

Like the topic says. I bought a Civic a couple of weeks ago. It has 256k miles on it, but the engine has been rebuilt. It also has a body kit, 4 JL w6 12's, 2 2300watt concept amps, Custom leather interior, CAI, Adjustable coilovers, 17" motegi's, Magnaflow catback exhaust, etc, etc, etc. Pretty much everything you could ask for in a car, but its not my stlye. I really want something faster and less square looking. The car is absolutely beautiful and in very good mechanical condition. It uses a little oil, but it's only about a quart a month. If anyone is interested in buying the civic or trading it for another car let me know. I would prefer to get a celica again, only this time w/ a 3s or maybe get a Supra(car of my dreams). Thanks.

P.S. Please don't post anything on here bashing Civics. I know many of you dont like them, but this is a very nice one. It is ready for shows, audio competitions, pimpin, whatever.

I got a Honda too man. I wouldn't recommend one to anyone if youre looking to do a swap. I personally don't like many things about them as much as celis and the b16 is nothing compared to the 3sgte, not to mention ppl on Honda forms don't seem as friendly, or helpful, or knowledgable, or creative. I can only hope to educate them a little and bring a piece of 6gc perspective to the lesser forums.

I'm definitely in. That's the best looking kit I've seen on a celi-or anything else for that matter.

Very nice. I love it. I'd like it better if the Bottom part didnt have that slit. You should make that one big opening and lose the little skinny piece. Still kickass though. Great custom work. Love the vent up top too.
