Yep, as max-elle said, theres no difference between the yellow and blue top, except for the extra terminals. Both are also almost the exact same price, the blue being a few dollars more (literally a few dollars though ![]() |

You can also buy some of these: http://www.mjmautoinnovations.com/sak825t65.htm to fit 6.5" into the front doors. |

Yeah, I'm looking for the ones with no tweeters in there, just the black plastic (as you said lol ![]() And, it'd be shipping it internationally too, to Perth, WA, Australia, would you guys have any idea what postage would be? |

Hey all, Looking at getting some new splits, so I need some new tweeter covers to fit the tweeters into. Condition wise I'm not too fussed, as I'll be drilling most of it out anyway, but they'd have to be the stock flat ones, without a tweeter in there already. In case anyone is unsure what I'm talking about: ![]() |

This is a normal thing, so your climate control lights aren't overly bright at night. Cutting the green clock wire won't do anything to the climate control lights, it only stops the clock dimming when the headlights are on. |

It's not directly applicable, but with buying head units from the US to use in Australia, I've found that the FM band works fine, it's just the AM band doesn't qork, as the US AM radio band has different increments than we use here in Australia. It might be similar to this? |

4ga is just the size of the wire and terminal. Unless your talking about the quality of the gear, there's no such thing as a 4ga terminal being 'good enough' for the wiring, because it's referring to size. If you have 4ga wire, you put a 4ga (or larger, to a point) terminal on the end of it. Look at the size of the wire, if the 4ga terminal fits, all good! |

Or get Speedhut to customise it to 240km/h. Costs an extra $20 or so. |

They just clip in on the bottom.. Underneath it, just squeeze it, and it should pop right out from the top. Or buy some spares on ebay for $10. |

Ok I'm 99% sure thats the loom for my actual radio. Mine is a RHD, so I'm guessing you mean the loom to the left of it? I had a look at that. But it's fit snug in there very tight. I can't even get an inch of slack to have a look at it.. Where else can I pull this wire from? |

Well I had a crack at this today, and I couldn't seem to find the right wire. Batman, would you have a picture of the wiring loom you mean? I took off the centre console, and I just tried to take the white/black wire that was in the horizontal loom at the very top: ![]() But when i cut this, the started did cut out, but I kept hearing a buzzing sound from my engine bay.. When I reconnected the wire the buzzing stopped? I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right loom, or if its even possible to do this now, maybe it's wired into my alarm? To get to the loom you said Batman, do I need to actually take my radio out to get to it? |

Ah, that makes it heaps easier to wire then. What I was thinking now, I'll just get a push button switch, one that doesn't stay in, and just have to push that down while I start the car over. Easier then holding a magnet over something. ![]() |

Haha, well this is where this idea came from. I figured I'd get an immobiliser, but then I thought of this. I'll see how this goes though, if it doesn't work.. I'll reconnect everything the way it was and pretend it never happened. ![]() Just out of interest, where in aus are you? |

Haha. Well I figure I won't bother flicking the switch back when I'm done, and with the magnet, I wont need somewhere to mount it, I can just do it under the carpet somewhere. I'll keep a spare magnet in the car too ![]() Also what I want to do is only use the magnet to enable starting the engine, not to actually start the engine, with this, would I just have the switch inline with the black/white wire? |

I was thinking I'd do this to my car, it seems like a pretty easy, cheap and effective thing to do. i want to install a magnetic reed switch onto the ignition. I'll hide the switch under the carpet somewhere, and keep a magnet in the car, so I'll have to have the magnet over the switch before I can start the car. I was reading http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=16174 , and from what i gather: Starter This wire is used for remote start and for starter-kill, which is when the car won't start if the alarm is armed. The starter wire in a sixth generation Celica is black/white, and is located at the ignition harness. Like the ignition wires, it's a fairly thick wire. I can make this work if I just put the reed switch inline with this black/white wire? Can someone tell me if this is right for the application i want? Also, will this allow me to have the car "on" as in electrical wise, so if the key is turned to 'ACC' or 'ON', without the engine started, can I still listen to music and everything, without the need for the magnet? One more thing, if this is the right wire, where would I find this? The "ignition harness", is this just inside the steering column? |

haha aww man. My car is similar to yours. Blitz front, AH sides, and soon to be installed purple underglow. haha. How did you mount your neons? Like, where exactly did you mount each neon? Thats the hardest thing I'm finding with installing mine. |

Yeah, that's what I was concerned about, if it would connect to the downpipe. From what I've found so far though, I'm pretty sure it's not gonna fit. Which sucks, the headers were from a mate, selling cheap too! |

Yeah, after having a look around for a while, I think its the exhaust flange that wont bolt up, ours is more a "triangular" sort of thing? Something like this: ![]() |

Hey, I've had a fair search around, but can't find exactly what I want. Just wondering if someone can tell me, will these headers fit my 5SFE? They're designed for a 5th gen 5SFE, and I'm not sure what the difference is between a 6th and a 5th gen one? ![]() |
