I am interested in your car, just wondering what you were looking to get? If you can give me a rough estimate I will give you an offer.

thanks,

hows it goin man,
I tried looking around in manayunk for garages and they are mucho expensive. I am renting a storage space and it is better than sitting outside. Let me know if you do this, I would be happy to help!

Mike,
Whats up man, this is matt from Yorktown with the silver probe gt. Sorry to hear you are selling your celica. I would buy it but I just bought another 6th gen. I have some buddies that are celica enthusiasts at home and I will let them know it is for sale. I still remember it with the z-glide lip, looks great now!

Hey there,
The factory turbo is the ct-9. Pretty small turbo. The engines are really cool though, and in a completely gutted tercel or paseo is a pretty sweet combination.

Hey all,
There are two engines, the ep82 and ep91(newer) starlets use the 4efte engine which makes in the neighborhood of 135 hp. The older starlets used the 3ete(think there is still one on ebay). The 4efte swap is popular with the tercel and paseo owners(I own a 92 tercel as well, and am in the process of doing this swap now). They are small engines but they have reliably held up to 20 lbs. of boost with a t3/t4 hybrid turbo(came factory with the ct-9 turbo, incredibly small). The swaps usually come with a 5-speed transmission as well and you can find the whole conversion for around a grand. I dont know if I would recommend them for the celica owners as the price involved in mounting new engine mounts, wiring, transmission etc. would put you in the price range of the 3sgte swap, and we all know what that is capable of. For more info check out www.tercelonline.com . Also, check out www.back-yard-productions.com There is info on the swap there.
Hope that helps.

Hows it goin man,
Yeah, I sold the probe about 8 months ago. I have a 2003 cavalier 4-door that I drive to work(bought it from my grandfathers estate when he passed away. I also have a 2002 dodge dakota to haul stuff with. Between payments and insurance on both of those and a $1000/month rent payment I havent had too much extra money, lol. I just bought a 94 gt with a blown engine. Got a good deal on it($200, lol). Only problem is its an automatic. I wanna do the 3s swap but $$$ is my main concern now. You still have a probe? Id love to find another.

hi there,
I agree with you in that a big, heavy wheel will slow down an already underpowered. I am only using the car to show however, and I guess I am going for the "bling bling" factor. I have had 2 different sets of 18s on my old 94 st(under member gallery, listed under matt m), and had no problem fitting an 18 x 7.5 with a 215/35 and ground controls but I cant for the life of me remember what offset the wheels were.
thanks for the help though,
matt

Hey all,
Have a quick question. I have a set of wheels I am interested in purchasing and just wondered if they would fit. They are a 19 x 7.5 inch wheel in a +42 offset. Can I fit them?
thanks
matt
