I measured up an SW20 MR2 once to see if the T-bar could be made to fit a Celica roof. Another (possible) option would be to use the Supra Aerotop parts. Either way, there's gonna be a lot of fabrication involved!! |

I've just done another pair of these (brand new Alcantara covers made and fitted). Very easy mod to do and very effective too. |

This has been on my list to try but idk how easy i could make sets to sell like we fldo shift boots They're a bit fiddly to make and the mirror(s) are annoying as they don't remove from the visor like Gen 7 ones do. But, with a supply of visors from breakers yards, it'd be easy enough to offer as a service. |

I've done this for a few people now and it can be a bit of a chore to do. The hardest parts (in my opinion) are working round the mirrors in them and also getting a nice join along the top edge where the visor clips into it's mounts. If you make the cover so it's a snug fit, you should only need glue along the top and round the mirrors (if you sew the sides, of course). I'd strongly recommend a high-temp adhesive as it'll all fall apart otherwise! |

 Those seats look fantastic. Why are they temporary until you retrim the interior? I'd leave them just as they are. I'll be trimming the whole interior in burgundy leather (like the armrest and gear gaiter have been done) when I find the time to do so. |

^^^^^^^ Truth. This is why I both welded and bolted the steel to the runners - to make sure that the seats are securely fitted in the cabin. It's not an ideal solution, but I have no concerns about the safety of the installation. |

Define modify cobra brackets? And yeah the oem is pricey and I can't find it anyway and nice seats what kind of recaros r those? They're Mitsubishi Evo seats with the centres retrimmed by me in the OEM Celica fabric. And "modify" means I had to bolt and weld flat steel to the Cobra runners so they bolted to the Recaro base. The only downside I found to this was that the Cobra frames needed all the mounting points elongating so it'd fit the floorpan! |

I've just trimmed someone's headlining in faux suede and, as long as you take your time and lash everything with hi-temp adhesive, there's no reason it shouldn't be done in one piece of material. ![]() |

Even though I'm not necessarily a fan of leather, I get a little fizzy at the thought of having those red covers in my silver Celi. Hopefully not too garish? They are absolutely beautiful in the car (a silver UK GT) and the owner is over the moon with his new interior. |

lol, so I WAS confident, now I am just confused. Mondo, do you think I will be OK with these covers? My car is a 95 USDM GT hatch. I appreciate all of the help this board gives I'll presume that the majority of seats out there will match the ones that Vincent used as a pattern for his covers, so you should be ok. I think it'd be pretty bad luck if they didn't fit. Stop worrying anyway! |

Well yes, in the ST (7AFE) the shoulder pads are slightly smaller, so there will be a bit access room there, but can either be sorted by a bit of foam, or just let i be ( its not THAT big of a deal). When i changed to GT (3sge) seats my covers fitted perfectly and didnīt have the access on the shoulder pads. So atleast there is 2 different types of the Celica seats that i know of, and the Vincent mold is made from the GT seats. There are different lengths of seatback too |

Thanks for the advice, I was concerned because I read that the stock leather seats were slightly different than the stock cloth seats. There are potentially three different types of front seat for the 6GC. When I do retrims, I have to make absolutely sure of which type the customer has, otherwise the new covers could potentially be too long or too short to fit. |

A guide price on having all four seats retrimmed plus doorcards, armrest, shift boot and e-brake would be around Ģ800, which converts to around $1,310 or thereabouts. |
