QUOTE(tomazws @ May 24, 2005 - 8:15 PM)
After I lowered the car with the S-Tech springs (0.9in front, 1.4in rear).  The camber's totally off.  The car's running like this:

/  \  (well not that extreme but u get the point...)

I went to an alignment place to get a quote, and he said I'll need an camber kit to make the wheel perfectly straight (0 degree camber)

Do I really?

its 1.4 in front and .9 in back. After installing these on my car i did not need camber.

sorry to hear about it bro, pour yourself a drink and join the rest of the fellas. we know how you feel man, hang in there and with time your wounds will heal.. sorry to hear again

Thank you for your kind words, but drinking is for week people. I'll never drink again in my life. I think it's one of the worse things a person could ever do.

Go out for a nice drive, in a empty, curvy road. Like in the mountains if you are near any. It'll get your mind off a lot of things.

audi design is world class- has been since the late 60's... History of the Quattro cars and its racing pedigree is impressive. But reliablity is trash to say the least, and for that reason i loose intrest VERY quickly... although an Imola Yellow S4 wagon would be fun  wink.gif

Where did you hear the reliability was bad? I thought it was pretty good just that doing DIY is a bitch. but i think that goes for all euro cars

Do any of you like audis? I love them, especially the TT, S4(B5 platform), and A3/S3(shame those never came out in the states). I love them cause they got stylish, clean looks with quattro awd turbo. The only bad thing is that they are pretty expensive. I'm most likely getting a TT or S4 for my next car. But for now, I love my celi!

The 6gc is like that. The rear fender gap is less than the fronts. Thats why tein lowering springs have it 1.4 in front and .9 in the back

Does anybody know anything about these antennas? my power antenna snapped and im thinking of getting the 15.5 in power antenna fix kit from them. I dont want a s2k antenna because i dont want to bother with getting 7th gen mount and stuff like that, i just want something simple. any info about these antennas in terms of quality, reception, etc will be greatly appreciated. thanks!

ok thanks for all the replies guys. i thought it was something with my engine and i got really scared. the only electronic thing installed are indigo gauges and i grounded it with a bolt on my door. I have a pioneer deck and its been there for a long time. the gauges have been there for a few months already and i just recently heard all this noise.

Hi, my 94 gt auto is occationaly making a high pitched sound while i acclerate. it kinda sounds electronic, kinda like a rc car. it would only be while im stepping on the gas and it would go away if i let off the gas or brake. and when i come to a complete stop you would hear it again while decelerating from around 2k rpm. does anybody have any idea what this is?? any help would be greatly appreciated

i took my car to the shop, the knocking was the brake pad i think. and the screetching was a warped rotor. they rotated it so now it make less noise but i still have to machine and resurface it for the noise to be totally gone. thanx everyone for replying
