Yes they are. If you are buying them off a Eclipse it won't fit. |

Yours looks ok. How come the storage is on top? Mines at the bottom of the player. |

I just want to put the outer trim on. I gues I'll try something to cover it up a bit. It is about 1/8" gap. Thanx for the info. |

Anyone have their player in and it doesn't stick out far enough to put on the outer trim? It bolts right up on the side brackets. But now it looks like the player has a gap around what the trim would cover up. |

Well I tried to siphon the fluid out first. It took 30 min. Then running the motor with the return line off took 6 secs. I heard the reason the fluid was so dark was because the power steering fluid eats up the rubber hoses. Is this true? |

Flushed my power steering system today. Disconnected return line, drained with motor running, filled, and drained again. Old fluid looked like 4 month old motor oil. New fluid Prestone with stop leak looked crystal clear. Noticed smoother steering response. Probably need to top off after tommorrow. |

Don't bash on other cars. It's the people that make the car look bad. It's almost like you say its a piece of **** because you don't have one. In no way is the Integra a POS. Car and Driver had it on the top in its category for like 2 years. It has its drawbacks too like small rear seats and bad insulation. Lots of road noise. I like the Celica because it has a lower stance and wider look. Not to mention the GT-4's. Hondas and Acuras common because it has a good reputation. People just don't know much about The Celicas. Having owned cars from both automakers, theyre both very reputable. |

Are you talking about coilovers? It can lower at least 2". You might be talking about springs. |

Hey Sphinx what turned you over to JIC? I've heard good stuff about them but do you have any actual reason for chosing it? |

I agree. Team-Integra has pretty much all you need to know about each models. You guys should check out the site and see what we could try to put together. And please don't take this the wrong way. I'm trying to put my .02 to make this site a one stop place for any info regarding anything about Celicas. Sticky's like: Specs- Someone with a repair manual can load all information about each models covered. Car weight, fluid quantities, SPARK PLUG GAP which I need etc... How to articles- Oil change, cooling system flush and fill, thermostat change. Like these three I can make a thread on but someone might have a better way of doing it since I don't actually have the torque specs for the bolts and nuts. Performance upgrades- Things done to the car that increases performance in any aspect. Acceleration, cornering, braking etc... Like I said I just want this site to be a one stop resource. And take a look at ( team-integra.net ). Don't think I'm praising Acuras. I've owned both Toyota and Honda vehicles. Probably the 2 most reliable makers out there. Just my opinion. I'll share all that I know of the cars but it aint much. Those more experienced should share the wealth. |

I've witnessed EX civics beat Integras, B18B's with same mods on both cars. Minor like i/h/e. It's geared reall good. Heck all Honda's and Acuras are. My ST feels like it drops rpm's big time when I go to second no matter how fast you shift it. |

I saw Tein and Tanabe True coilovers for about 1200+ a set. Haven't seen JIC. As far as being tested, how can we tell until someone has actually tested them? Anyone here have any of these? |

Ok, all is good now. There was a chip in the lower portion of the thermostat housing. I filed and sanded it smoothe so the seal sits in flush all around. Car should be able to run easier without rust and straight water running in the cooling system. |

Well I got the bolt out. Its a double theaded stud. I'm just gonna try to find a bolt to put in there. I actually work at a sheetmetal shop. If I had the tools I can drill the center and use a reverse threaded screw remover or easy out. But I would have to take the housing off. Yeah next time definetely look at the size of the seal. Still need to put it back on though. Crossing my fingers. |

The thermostat housing outlet bolt that connects to the radiator snapped. Bottom hose on the radiator. Anyone know any good ideas on how to remove it? And where can I get the bolt? I called Toyota parts store from my area and they said I might need to get a new housing which is expensive. If I an just get that bolt off I'll be good to go. Thanx for any help. PS. Don't buy the seal from autozone, it's the wrong size. It's what got me into this mess in the first place. |

I'm gonna try the old thermostat back tommorrow in the daylight. I put in the new seal so don't know what else it could be. Oh well... |

I don't have a owners manual. Mine has 144,500 miles on the motor. What maintenance do I need to do? -Already changed oil -Spark plug gap? -Thermostat temperature range? -All belts intervals? Mileage wise. -Fuel filter? Mileage wise. -Catalytic? Should I even change it? -O2 sensor? Should I change it? -Tranny fluid? Mileage wise. Can't afford the 3sgte swap till next summer so just wanna make my motor last. |
