ZGear, I will get you dimensions on the radiator and intercooler tomorrow. I have been told payment is in the mail for the motor mounts. I'll let you know if that falls through.

I will work with all of you on prices for the rest of the parts that are for sale. PM me offers! I have paypal and will use that as well. I am just learning how to use it, since I haven't really purchased or sold a whole lot in the past.

Thanks!

After a long time of my project laying dormant, and quite an absence from these boards, I have decided to part out my Celica and its 3SGTE project...

I got royally worked over by a fraudulant mechanic and, at the time, did not have any means to recover my losses. Now, I have decided to part ways with the car and the big motor plans I had started on. I want to offer all of my parts to the 6GC family. I have a lot of unique parts for sale. I don't really know how to price this all out, but I am willing to negotiate on pricing. I live in the Moline, Illinois (Western part of the state.) So if anyone is within a reasonable driving distance to pick any of this stuff up, I will also work with meeting any of you within a certain distance (depending on what the item of interest is and the distance any of you are coming from.)

I prefer to have a money order/cashier's check sent. I do not use paypal. I'm sorry if this is of any inconvenience.

Motor: I'm willing to sell this all together, or in the pieces that it is in. Pretty much, the only things missing off it (thanks to my mechanic) are the cams and the gasket set. I'll list everything I have for the motor. If you're interested in any of it, please PM me with what you want and we can talk prices.

3SGTE block (ST185)
Ported/Polished Cylinder Head (Ferrea Valves included, but not installed)
Intake Manifold
JE Pistons
Shot-peened/heat treated connecting rods
Balanced crankshaft
OBX adjustable cam gears SOLD
Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulley SOLD
CT26 Turbocharger/Turbo manifold
Valve Cover (painted red, looks nice)
Haltech E6K Standalone Engine Management System (Was partially installed) SOLD
All 4 GT motor mounts (were bought brand new) SOLD
Koyo GT 2.2L Radiator
Front mount intercooler (I forgot the dimensions, but I can get them for anyone interested)
ST205 Axles SOLD
MR2T Axles SOLD
Fidanza Flywheel
3" stainless downpipe SOLD
ST205 Hood (painted black) SOLD
HIRO Rear Splitters (not painted, never did anything with them) SOLD
Curren Taillights SOLD
Stock Taillights
17" Enkei RS6 Rims with Tires (255/45s, decent tread) SOLD

I'm sure I'm forgetting some pieces, but I will be down at my storage unit later this week and look through it and add to this list as necessary.

Of course, if anyone is interested in the entire project, I'll sell everything I have. I'm not sure what the interest is on these boards would be in the whole thing, but I will let it all go. I'm only keeping the car itself for about 2 more weeks before I take it to the grave.

I will check this as often as I can, and at the very least, once a day. But you all are welcome to email me at SMBerg85@gmail.com. I will see emails to that address almost immediately.

I hope all or most of this stuff will be able to be used for somebody on here. I hate to let it go, but its really the only thing I can do at this point. Also, I am only willing to sell my stuff to people within the United States.

Thank you,

Steve Berg

Ok. I am looking for a shell of any 94-99 celica, I'd consider even ST's or auto's, preferably without the motor but I'd accept blown motors or w/e... I would absolutely love for it to have a sun/moon roof, 5 speed, and be a gt, but if its just a Celica it'll do. My budget is kinda tight but right now i'll be willing to work something out. Lemme know what you got! Need to buy ASAP. Appreciate it

I have a project that I simply don't have any more time for...Its motorless, I have a 3SGTE for it but its disassembled because I was rebuilding it. If you are interested, I'd be willing to make accomodations. I live in Western Illinois.

My email is SMBerg85@gmail.com

The motor will need an alternator, plugs, belts, injectors, and other small bits like that.

The only mount that I don't have for the motor is the rear mount from the ST205 that fits the transmission. Thats really all I can think of for parts that need to be purchased.

The motor was bought from NEVERSTOP a few years back. He claims it was this combination of a 205 and an 185, but its just a 185.

My project is for sale.

A 1995 ST in the middle of swapping a 3S. I'm looking to sell everything in one sale (in other words, I don't want to part it out. I'd rather try selling it altogether first.)

Whats included:
The Car:
-GC coilovers/kyb gr-2 struts.
-NX nitrous system
-Curren taillights (I also have the stock taillights)
-tinted rear windows
-17" Enkei RS-6 with Yokohama rubber
-16" 7th gen GT-S rims powder coated black
-JDM GT-4 Hood (I also still have the stock hood)

The motor:
-3S-GTE
-JE Pistons
-Shot peened/heat treated rods
-ACL bearings
-lightened/balanced crankshaft
-Ferrea Valves
-new valvesprings
-reworked cams
-OBX adjustable cam gears
-CT-26 Turbo
-Nitrous Express 100hp dry shot kit
-3" downpipe
-Oversized throttle body inlet
-Nology hotwires
-Aisin Oil Pump and Water Pump
-E-153 transmission with LSD
-Blitz DD blowoff valve/ turbo timer
-Fidanza flywheel
-Haltech EK6 Standalone Engine Management System,
-Powdercoated front mount intercooler
-GT throttle linkages
-New motor mounts (just don't have the rear mount that is need for the MR2 tansmission)
-S54 manual transmission
-AWD transmission
-MR2 axles
-GT axles
-Koyo Radiator
-Unorthodox Racing pulley

The block and oil pan have been painted black, the valve cover painted red and look very nice.

The cylinder head has been ported and polished. Looks amazing.

The reason I'm selling the car is because my mechanic turned very shady on me. He stopped working on the car, didn't respond to my calls, told me lies about the progress of the motor build and eventually scammed me out of some money. I don't have the money to finish this project, nor the time as I am a college student away from home.

I'm looking for $7,500 for everything. I live in Western Illinois and would be willing to meet anyone who is interested in buying the car for pick up.

Here is a link to the pictures I have taken of the car and its parts:
http://photobucket.com/Celica_photos

If interested, please email me at smberg85@gmail.com. Or call my cell phone at 1-309-235-5260. I'd be happy to answer any questions for you. Please note that if you do call me, I won't have my phone until this coming Sunday as I am in Europe until then.

thank you for your time,

Steve

I understand, man. I'm just looking to get back the majority of what I spent on the whole set up. I do have an S54 (GT tranny) here as well. But it doesn't have any axles with it. just let me know.

Well, I have 2 transmissions that you may be interested...I have decided that I need to sell my project because I have been royally screwed over by my mechanic and don't have the money to finish up the celica...

So, I have a 94 MR2T transmission with LSD. I'll let it go for $1100. This will include both sets of axles that I have and the shift linkages.

I have an S54 transmission that came attached to my 3SGTE when I bought it.. I'll let it go for $300.

Both transmissions I have not used, as my motor completion fell by the way-side last fall.. Both prices do not include the price to ship.

pm me or email me at SMBerg85@gmail.com.

$400 + shipping and its yours. It came attached to my 3SGTE when I bought it. I've never used the this transmission. According to NEVERSTOP (i dont know if he posts on these boards anymore or not), the transmission had roughly 36,000 miles on it.

thanks for your help guys.

I checked the filter (dry and clean)
I checked the battery (some corrosion on the + terminal. cleaned it)
Unplugged the wires and checked them. They look good.
Plugs, I don't have a single tool up here with me to check those.
Was able to get the distributor cap off...it actually had a little bit of oil in it. I'm thinking its a bad seal in the distributor.

I was able to get it to turn over this afternoon, but it would only run on about 100 rpms and die as soon as I gave it throttle.

I have a tow truck coming in the morning to take it to a shop. I need it driveable so i can go home this weekend.

I'll post what the problem was when I get a call from the shop tomorrow.

Thanks again

So I'm in DeKalb, Illinois (going to Northern Illinois University). This weekend, the river flowing through the town flooded from lots and lots and lots of rain. My apartment complex was completely surrounded by flood water. I'd say about 60% of the parking lots were knee deep in water. My car happened to be in this knee deep water.

So i pushed the car out of the water and into a dry parking spot. I got out all of the standing water (about 4 inches worth) and let it sit for a solid day. Yesterday I tried starting the car. It won't turn over. It cranks and cranks and cranks, but it won't turn over. I tried jump starting it, I checked the spark plugs/wires.

Any other ideas as to what might keep it from turning over?

I've been in my apartment since Thursday night because we weren't able to go anywhere outside the complex. I'm going insane!!!

Thanks in advance for any input.

While test fitting my MR2 transmission, I noticed the shifter control arms facing towards the front of the car. With any other transmissions, these control arms face the firewall side of the car. I have read up about the MR2 transmission working in the car using GT shifter cables. Are there any modifications the need to be done beofre having this work?

Thanks for your time

Over the weekend, I mocked up my E-153 transmission into the engine bay. We had the transmission on a stand and got a vision as to how this is going to sit in the car when my motor is ready to be installed. I read the sticky posted about making this transmission fit and now have some questions about this.

About the axles...

The transmission is a 94 MR2T with lsd. The inner half shafts I have are from the exact same transmission. I also have ST205 axles in which I will be using the outer halfshafts from to mate to the inner halfshafts of the MR2 axles. Will this work?

About the mounts...

I have GT mounts for the front, and passenger side. I have two driver's side mounts for the transmission (both are the same part number, 12372-74451), and an ST205 rear mount on order from Champion Toyota. Will these work?

About the shifter cables...

I read in Defgeph's write up on his motor swap, that the MR2T needs to use the GT shifter cables. Is this correct?

I am fully prepared to customize anything that needs to be customized. If there is anything else that I am missing or that I need instead of what I have, I would greatly appreciate the insight.

Thanks for all of your time,

Steve

I will go if the weather holds up. If its raining (or heck, snow isn't out of the question, sadly enough), I dont think I'll be making the trip out.
