You've got that mostly correct. So the benefit of Compound versus Sequential:
Here's a good graph to explain another important part of the differences (twostage is referring to compound setups)[/img]

So the brown line in this case?

Also doesn't help that I think of something like this normally when I think of compound. Oh hey simple. Also why didn't I find this last night D: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-Me6yWApzY

Nekronos, I think you're flow was backwards
should look like this
*snip*

I was looking at the in flow when I was doing it and it seemed totally wrong to me, I was pretty exhausted from staring at the spaghetti tubing. Especially since I didn't see a blatant connection to the IC from one of the turbos. Should've paid more attention to this photo with the intake filter on the bottom left

Sequential and compound turbo setups are totally different. Let me know if you need a brief description and I'll do my best to explain the difference. I'll look and see if we have any good photos of the finished manifolds without turbos attached for you.

I feel I have somewhat of a rough idea of what your system is doing. Not being able to follow the flow perhaps is throwing me off. But when I try to follow it almost seems as if its both probably because of all the wastegates you have on it.

Orange is first inlet charge, brown takes charge into 2nd turbo, compressing it more and then purple takes the exponentially charged air through the IC past the throttle body into the engine.

Red Exhaust goes from block to first turbo, light blue it goes from first turbo to 2nd spooling it up, green wastegates dump to 2nd turbo for full powah.

Red Exhaust goes from block to first turbo, light blue it goes from first turbo to 2nd spooling it up, green it finally hits the downpipe.

Series/Compound/Staged

That exhaust manifold is ****ing maze for me to try and follow from those photos.
I take it compound and sequential are the same in this case for the turbo set up?

edit

Got any photos with out the turbos hooked up to it?

Because it's such an insignificant amount.

Are you sure its a small leak? Or is it left over from a previous leak, or from something else like power steering, a spill? Since you said that you are "almost certain"

Frankly oil level staying the same I would find to be a great thing. Whats your oil look like after you have driven the car.

Have a friend follow you and look for blue.
The amount of smoke that may come out of the spout should be insignificant unless its billowing in which case you probably have a bigger problem than burning oil.

Smoke out of the exhaust usually means you are burning oil.

BUMP.

1000 Firm.

Theres auto's for sale with offers that need double the work this car does. It starts up first try EVERY time. Needs a fuel pump and/or a distributor those are the ONLY things that arent new ! 200K on Chassis and the engine was just overhauled and went through $1200 worth or repairs and upgrades! I even have the receipts from everything that was just done over the past few months.

This has peaked my interest.

The carpet sold by Velliety, is the carpet purchased from me back in 06. It came out of a 97gt vert. The picture posted in this thread has the same cut for where the carpet was underneath the SRS computer. She had no problems with it four years ago. So I'm not sure what this person dgbldr is complaining about. Gives mich 6gcers a bad rep, and it's unfortunate that she now has a negative mark against her because of it.

Bump for great buyer and seller.

It's pretty amazing that A), the LF-A was built by Lexus, and B), that Lexus built a car with an engine that revs so quickly that an analog tachometer can't keep up with it.

Blows my mind.

To put the 2jz in you'd have to build a brand new custom car since youd be modifying and changing so many components to put on the celica chassis.

Basically buy a blown supra shell since you say you have money and if you really like the celica look modify the exterior to look like it. Kinda like 0Re0 put supra tails on his celi.
