LOL. I new about the emblem because my first car was a 1993 pontiac grand am GT and I bought that same emblem. My first bike was a GT Performer, first car Grand am GT and I hope soon I'll be a proud owner of a GT 6gc. But still havent found one for a good price and in good condition here in Florida.

I like the the lip you have on but the bumper you are considering looks awesome, it all depends like they say that the fitment is crazy bad. For the wheels I really like the oem you have, always liked five star wheels. Also like the pontiac grand am GT emblem you put in the back of the car.

In my opinion this is a celica. It has the shape of a celica not like the nascar cars that the only thing they have that looks like the factory car is the grill, wich is a sticker.

I am very happy for you. Glad that you are finally enjoying your beams motor. Is not fast as a turbo car but like you say and all the other beams owners they are fun to drive, want more pedal in high rpms and are reliable for a daily driver. Keep enjoying it. I like to read this treads about 3sge swaps because that's the one I would do when I'll be a proud owner of a celica, they are dissapointed at first with the difficulties doing the engine swap but at the end it was something simple and with the performance they are dissapointed at first but then they like the performance.

I am with Limited GT4, it seems that he needs the money to fix the car. I would fix the window first because looking at the convertible you have no back window. For me thats more important than headlights, second I would paint the car. Sell the headlights and use the money for what is important.

I few month ago I read a thread about the mpg for the Toyota celica and those numbers were way off comparing to this ones from this .gov website.

For example the 1994 celica GT does 21 city/27 highway (23 combined) compared to 23 city/29 (25 combined) highway official EPA window sticker

Check it out, it will give you the mpg for any make, model and year and you can also compare it with the official EPA window sticker fuel economy. I wish this site had a list for jdm cars because I really want to know the mpg for a celica 3sge beams redtop motor.

I'm glad I kept reading this thread because I was about to buy an ST celica instead of a GT since it gives more mpg and this motor swap was so pain in the a**. Even if the GT gives less mpg than the ST I will purchase a GT model in the future so it can be easier to do the BEAMS swap. I'm happy you finished this swap. Can you say that you can kill in the quarter mile a civic or a integra?
