I have a 95 Celica with the 2.2 engine. The car shifts well through all gears while not in motion. Shifting from 1st to 2nd (or 2nd to 1st), I can feel a hang up while shifting. This does not happen in the other gears. If I get slow enough, I can then move it into gear without issues. The clutch pressure feels good, and the motion is smooth. Is it possible that I will need a new clutch, but I want to confirm this before having to spend that kind of time/money. Thank you for any advice. |
