They won't sell to the public.

Take a look at your local junkards, Toyota used the same mast design for years after the sixth-gen was out of production.

So what other years and models use the same mast?

Don't want an antenna sticking out ALL the time on a convertible.

Bought one off Ebay for my '96 but the diameter is too small. Does anybody sell the correct one besides a Toyota dealer at $50?

Just out of curiousity, and I'll make this short. I want to tune up my 6th Gen Toyota Celica, its a convertible and it has a few issues but I'll worry about that later, but as for tuning it up, I don't know where exactly to start with it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd appreciate any comments and feedback. (I checked out the FAQ a bit, but I wasn't exactly sure on where to begin with it.)

Replace or clean the following. (Your car may not have all these parts.)
Spark plugs
Wire set
Distributor Cap
Rotor
Air filter
Fuel filter
PCV valve
Valve adjustment
Clean throttle body
Clean MAF sensor
Clean battery cables

Better if you quit smoking.

jajajajaja laugh.gif naaa i dont smoke... but i really need it for my phone charger wink.gif

Well, driving and talking on the phone is probably just as hazardous to your health. Anyway, check for 12 volts at the center of the lighter socket. It's probably just dirty. Try cleaning it with the eraser on a pencil.

First you have to get it scanned for codes. Then erase the codes. Then if the light comes back, scan again for codes and diagnose them accordingly......Or you could put a bit of black electrical tape over the light.

I bought the car a month ago and went to pick it up today and there was 3 inches of water in the left front and rear footwells. I drained the water from there but can still hear it sloshing around in the quarters. Probably the drain holes are clogged. Where are they and how do I get to them? Do the rocker moldings have to be removed?
