so heres the question ive been wondering but only info i can find seems to be one post that says
"if you have a 3sgte with an e153 transmission then just buy a 3sgte pressure plate/ clutch"
so the setup ive got is a 2nd gen 3sgte with 99 solara e153 (non lsd) would buying a st185 pressure plate / clutch work
or would i have to specifically get a pressure plate for the 3s with a clutch for the solara?

ooking for options from them since i live a 5 min drive from one of their distribution places.
whats your thoughts and setup?

Not exactly sure how i would even start to search for this (here or on google)
What Im searching for is a site that allows someone to look up year of an item by part number
Ive already tried calling the Dealership where i live to find out BUT after about 45 minutes of back and forth between the
shop and the parts area i finally just said F*** it and hung up the phone.
Any ideas??
Trying to find out what year my ECU is

after little bit more research on the EVO series (as that is the ones ill be getting as of now at least) they seems to be powered once ACC is turned on and at night you wire them into light switch (splice into wire? or fuse) and at that point you can change the color if you want by simply using a different wire that comes with the gauge
of course im speaking only of the boost gauge right now but i imagine it would be the same for the AFR.
i think when i wire them up ill make sure to take some pictures to do a write up on it as i haven't been able to find one on here

i didnt much like the look of the premiums. the change of color thing is biggest reason i think im going with them.
im stuck between a grey / green / black OR white / gold / black color scheme for the car and with the green / white gauges that both of those
are offered in i would be able to change if i dont like the scheme i end up with.
i was unaware of the fact that they are just basically copies of defis.
i only plan on 2 gauges for right now boost / AFR.
probably going to end up with the EVO series though. I like the aspect of actually seeing the numbers and not having to read lines while driving
(personal preference i guess)

thanks for your advice swift. once i get them if i have any problems hooking them up would it be ok to send you a pm for some help?

so i think ive decided to get the prosport performance in green / white
http://prosportgauges.com/green_white_perf...nce_gauges.aspx
or
the Evo http://prosportgauges.com/evo-series-green-and-white.aspx
the Evo series has a wideband afr that the other doesn't which is only reason im considering it.

http://www.aemelectronics.com/water-methan...ection-kits-23/
i have thought about this but 2 things that kept coming to mind when i would start seeaching.
1) i live in billings mt. it never really gets to hot here. highest ive seen it in last few years was in the 90*'s maybe
2) the building im planning wont need much more then 300hp
this being said im not 100% sure i would need a water/meth kit
