wink.gif Thanks for the advice. I read that little tidbit after I'd blown two $25 bulbs but thought they were just being "overly anal" in their instructions about not touching the bulbs. Guess not!

I'm going to order another pair (@$50 clams!) replace the ground wire and NOT touch the bulb during install and see what happens..

Thanks Psyko

I just purchased a '94 Celica GT that came with a burnt out H3 bulb in one of the Road Boy driving lights. I ordered a new bulb and installed it but, the bulb went out and I installed a SECOND bulb and promptly went out.

Is it possible that I have a bad ground wire?
What about an electrical surge? (but then...wouldn't both driving lights be out?)

Any tips/cluses would be appreciated...as much as these PIAA bulbs cost - I don't have much more $$ for trial and error...
