Mine's the SSII and has a slightly higher spec than the UK GT models (eg. slightly more power, climate control).

How about something inbetween

I used to get this too, particularly when the engine was cold. After it came back from having a new timing belt fitted there was no more noise .

Here's how I did mine (if it helps).

I like the second ones.....the first look a bit too stock.

When i changed my wheels and tyres from 205/55/15 to 215/35/18 it only made a difference in diameter of 1mm (that's less than 1/16" to you guys ).

Have you checked the 3rd brake light is working? When the bulb in mine went, the warning light came on.
