Ill edit my previous post as i just came across this website that claims to be able to import the st205 half cut ( although they don't have stock atm ) http://www.japparts.com.au/products/stock-arriving.html Now its time for my next stupid question, Does the fact its a AWD affect me ( much ? ) obviously im doing the swap into a FWD celica so i'm unsure if what all that means. |

You'd need either an ST185 or ST205 clip, depending in whether you want a 2nd or 3rd gen 3S-GTE. The reason behind buying a clip is that engine sets are often missing various parts that you need for the swap, and you lose a lot more time and very frequently lose money by buying the parts individually. Plus with a clip, you can recoup some of your money by selling leftover body panels, headlights, gauge cluster, etc. then sell the leftover chassis for scrap. You could buy a full ST185 and use everything to swap your car, just the same as an engine clip. I'd prefer you to ship the complete ST185 to me though. Yea id read about having to buy more stuff with the engine i was just confused if the 5th gen style would still work on a 6gc clip wise. ST185 GT4's go for about the same price a stock 6gc goes for so it would be a hell of alot cheaper for me just to buy a whole running car haha ! Lagos - I never really liked the shape of them and i've grown "attached" to my car and want to take it as far as i can haha |

Ok so i read that buying a front clip is the way to go with the 3SGTE but i can't find ( i gather this is about to be a stupid question but eh. ) anything which says which style of clip. Now i assume it would be a ST205 clip that i need to buy but in Australia its becoming a bit of a unicorn to find but theres alot of ST185 GT4's for sale as a whole car, could i buy a car and make my own front clip or something alot more possible and less imagination combined with no real engine knowledge ? haha Anthony |

I swear there was a thread ( i thought it was stickied ) that supplied all the info one would need in regards to best stuff to buy/ problems you will face/ how to do the 3sgte swap somewhere but can't find it and i must be searching the wrong terms. Anyone know if it actually does exist and where it is ? |

Had BC BR's fitted a few months ago, currently got the front lip sitting about 80mm off the ground haha Will probably end of getting 5 or 10's on the back just so it doesn't look to extreme but thanks for the brand heads up. |

Hmmm I want the rear lip to go with my set. I didn't even realize there was a rear lip for sale with it haha Jeebus - I can see what your talking about, this was my main concern in buying it, I shouldn't have a problem drilling any holes for the sheet but the bonnet problem worries me. Josh - Tell that to the red p plater who ran me off the road and drove off |

Are there no 94 ones on there? They will work, Edit: centre bore is the same! 15mm, make sure you have sufficient room on the back of your wheel to accommodate for the original studs poking through. And that price is for a pair. $10 shipping I believe. Couldn't see any 15mm that said 94 that's why i wasn't sure. Don't really want to replace/ cut the studs though |
