Release bearing, input shaft bearing, throw out bearing. To-may-to, to-mah-to. Same thing by a different name. As long as its the bearing that sits in the clutch fork, it's the same one.

So which should I replace.

Its your throw out bearing, you need to replace it.

The throw out bearing presses on the prongs of the pressure plate disengaging the clutch, I would also check you clutch fork for proper free play.

Is there a way to post pictures directly off my phone? Is like to show you what I replaced. I have a picture of my tranny from when I took it off with the new parts on it.

I have for sale many parts that went unused from my donor celica.

Unable to post pics right now, as the forums requires a linked image and all of mine are only on my phone. So for now, i can text images.

All of what I have is oem. Just name what you need and ill let you know what I got.
Off the top of my head;

*have oem radio unit
*instrument cluster, I believe reads around 18x,xxx
*a/c unit, a few buttons are scuffed
*I believe the driver side tail light, I will confirm later
*both front seats. Driver seat kidney has a rip. Passenger and rear just slightly stained.
*glove box with brackets
*door shells and panels, misc door parts
*headliner
*oem hood, condition is good if you disregard the bat symbol. Easy to sand off.
*passenger fender

*also, I am stripping a 5s Fe block. The block is not for sale but you name what accessories you want off it n its yours. This includes the transmission. Around 18x,xxx miles.

That's the best I got.
Again, will post pictures soon. For now I can text pictures.

Thanks!

Hey, group.

I want to start fabricating some bits n pieces here n there. I've a few ideas but none worth the material yet. And I've not attempted it before.

I would like to see what's been done, or tried.

Hey. As it says, I am looking, Like the rest of us, aha, for clear blinkers, side markers, and if it exists, clear side markers that fit the door panels.

I am also lookin for the two speaker door panels. And the lower trim panel that has the cigarrette lighter.

Beyond that escapes me. I'm sure there's more ill request later.

Thanks much!

On a related issue, my car acted out today. For a moment, after I shift up, when I had already engaged the clutch and was givin it throttle, the car would rev up like it was in neutral. There was no momentum gain, the rpm would just shoot up. I shift up again and the problem still occurred. After shutting her down and starting it, the problem subsided.

Did you just replace the throw out bearing as well?

I replaced the flywheel and ring gear, friction disc, pressure plate and input shaft bearing.

I have been eliminating various noises from my car for sometime. Up until now, all issues have been diagnosed and cured. I am now left with a strange ticking noise coming from the area around the throttle body/intake manifold/transmission. I am not definite on which it could be.

The ticking is consistent at idle. When I give it throttle, the ticking accelerates, as expected. If I give it too much throttle to quick, the engine bogs down, but continues to run and levels out.

More importantly, when the clutch is disengaged (my foot is on the pedal) the noise stops. When it is engaged (foot off the pedal) the noise resumes.

I can't come to a conclusion. Please help.

If it matters, I just installed a new clutch, but the noise has been there since before.

Well,

Looks like pricing on these are being driven down by current sellers. In order to make these competitively priced, I'm dropping the price to 80 shipped.

Again, please email me at tckinnare@gmail.com

Looking to finish my 95 ST fixer upper. Shipping to area code 51576. Reply here or email jarasman@yahoo.com

I would like the OEM radio with CD but would consider any unit. A working power antenna is needed. The current center console is ugly and the hinge is wobbly, I would like to find a better looking unit. The gear selector indicator is broken on my shifter and the boot is completely gone.

I have the radio unit.
