I might just settle with the silver top then. Know of any good places to get them from?

I would like something that drops right into what I have right now and don't want to go through the hassle of changing a lot of things, mainly the reason I'm sticking with the 4a series. Money's not a really big issue with it, but the prices that i've seen for a 3s is a little more than what I'm willing to spend on a swap. I've possibly thought about a 4agze too. Isn't that a matter of just swapping the engine and tranny? Basically what i have going on here is a show car that needs a new engine. I probably won't be doing a lot of racing in it but I want something that 1. Will have more power than my 7afe and 2. Look better for shows. The 4A series seems to be my best bet for this. Since I'm already going to invest around 800 in a silver top, was just looking to see if it's worth to invest a little more into a black top or a 4agze. Is there any reason besides scarcity that people don't do blacktops?

It's not so much of being on a tight budget. I'm willing to fork out whatever it takes for a black top, but is it really worth spending the extra $500 dollars on it is the question. Are there considerable differences between the two styles or are they just slight differences.

I have a 94 ST and my 175000 mile stock engine has seen it's last days. I'm not sure what to do about replacing it. a 3sge or 3sgte is out of the question. I've been considering doing a 4age black top, but it's quite costly. Is it really worth the money to go for the black top or stick with the cheaper silver tops? The 4agze seems to be a little more work than the others so I'm not sure if that's the route that I want to go.

Unfortunately I will not be making a second appearance to the show. My car has sadly been sitting since about this time last year. Needs engine work, and debating on what to do with it. Would like to do a swap, the 4a-ge being my favorite, but need to build the funds up for it. You all will have to wait one more year to see those pretty projectors.

Leave em off and keep it clean.

I went to one of my local tire shops and purchased tuner lugnuts and the key for 20 bucks. Fits perfect. I have 18" R-1's.

I'd go if I were off. Gotta work 9-5.

Don't worry about shipping mine late. my car isn't being driven now either. As long as I get it by next April, I'll be happy. It's just going to sit in my room until then. Yeah i'm excited to see it but it's only going to be exciting for the first 10 minutes, then sit for months. No biggie to me. Just so that it's here before my next big car show this coming spring.

I have 2 PS2's in my car; one running off my headunit and a second running in my trunk. I have my car parked and stored for the winter now, but when we would sit out in the summer, I would use it quite frequently.

My car is running horrible, so I more than likely will not be able to go. I'd be there if it were mobile.

Hmm. . I'm having him look into some kicker amps perhaps an SX600.2 it's a 2 channel 600 watt amp. I'm not sure if that will push the amp good enough. I know it RMS's at 750. I'm having him get me prices on the 600 x 2 and the
900 x 2.

I'm just wondering if anyones had a Coustic amp before. I'm looking into buying an 800 watt 2 channel. Model 800S or something like that. I'm going to run it to a Kicker L7 Solo Barric. he's selling the amp for 150 and I"m getting the L7 for ridiculously cheap. Any input would help.

I have a dumb question. I'm sure it's completely fine and what not, but is it ok to wax carbon fiber hoods? I'm Using McGuire's Tech Wax, it just applies by hand. I'm certain that there's nothing wrong with it, just wanted to check before messing with a 500 dollar hood.
